DeSantis really stepped out there and has run a miserable ground game of a campaign. Sometimes that’s how it goes and you fall on your face.
Does that mean Trump is better for America, or that Biden is preferable?
No. Absolutely not. But the small circle on this board has become a tiny circle jerk focused on a man who would never speak to them in private life. Neither of these two incompetent old men well past their peak years (definitely a short window for the Delaware Dummy) should be in the Oval Office in January of 2025.
But there are those of you who are so caught up in the past you cannot see the real world right now.
You are focused on a bitter nasty vengeful old man and not your country.
I pray for our country every day and I hope that those who are likewise caught up in a place of ignorance aren’t all that dominant. If you control this election we truly are in a path of doom.

I don’t read politico, genius, it’s about the winners of Iowa it is what it is, not much. Let me spoil the fun for you, Trump will win the nomination. The question that matters is can he win a general. It’s hard to handicap such brutally bad options, I think the Dems hold a slight lead. Tough one to call, I need a microscope to see the difference.
I voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020. That said, I don’t think it is crazy at all for DeSantis to suggest that the media is following the same game plan as 2016, support Trump until he wins the primary and then attack him when he’s the nominee.
Oh the Dims are delighted with what’s happening- until he’s the nominee.

I’m glad I’m able to filter the bad from the good and stand for what’s best for this country. And it’s not being ageist about who I vote for. And it’s not picking an establishment hack like Nikki Haley because she’s young, DeSantis not only didn’t do well on the ground, but he took money from, surrounded himself with, and campaigned like an establishment candidate. Those who are awake have had enough Uniparty for now.
And regarding age…you be able to look around your friend group and admit that not everyone ages at the same rate, and in the same way.
Even Fox hosts are unilaterally supporting him from clips I’ve seen.
He gets almost zero support outside of RW Pundits and Podcasters.
Hard to say, the Dems absolutely despise Trump and they make that abundantly clear.
