You are spot on about the media. Not to mention that both sides like to listen/watch media that confirm their biased thoughts.Well, lets look at a few facts. First....the main stream media being against Trump. Simply not true. More people currently watch Fox news than CNN or MSNBC combined based on recent ratings. Secondly, the radio news has been totally dominated by conservative talk stations for decades......led largely by Rush Limbaugh until he passed but has continued with a number of conservative hosts. Most of the top individual news type shows are conservative pundits (Watters, Hannity, Ingraham). So the news media having a liberal slant is a memory of a bygone era.......its not the truth anymore and really hasn't been ever sense Fox got its footing. More people watch TV news and listen to radio stations with conservative bias than anything else. Yes CNN and MSNBC are biased against Trump.....but no more so than Fox is biased against Biden. They are all guilty.......but primarily because they are both giving their audiences what they want. A true "fair and balanced" news stations can't get ratings.
And, BTW, which station was hit with a $787 million dollar defamation suit because they spun things way too much?
Do you think history is going to remember the twitter posts that Nail puts on the election thread.......or will history remember 60 court cases that all went against Trump? Will history remember unsubstantiated claims.....or will history remember the Arizona recount done by republicans that reflected Biden won? Will history really give any credence to a guy who accused the Emmy's of being rigged when he lost, the republican primary process of being rigged and then the presidential election? ALL three without any evidence that he could prove. Cry wolf much?
Will history remember the insurrection as just something stirred up somehow by democrats......or will it remember Trumps recorded speech, his long delay in saying anything to stop what was going on and him ultimately coming out and saying to those people that he loved them and they are very special?
Will history remember that Trump was unfairly prosecuted for election interference........or will history remember his actual recorded phone call where he is asking election official for more votes, the crazy lies (admitted lies) by Rudy Giuliani and the Kracken that got them both in legal trouble and his own vice president........who was a loyal as a dog for 4 years, ultimately saying “I truly do believe that we kept our oath to the Constitution that day,” Pence said. “But the American people deserve to know that President Trump, you know, asked me to put him over my oath to the Constitution, but I kept my oath, and I always will.” Additionally Pence said, “Today’s indictment serves as an important reminder: anyone who puts himself over the Constitution should never be President of the United States,”
Has there ever been a vice president anywhere in American history that came out and said something like that about the president they served under? Historically, that seems to be a pretty big thing.
There is a lot more, but that's enough for now.
No Trumper watches Joy Reid to learn about something Trump. Just like no Biden lover will watch Watters to learn about Biden.
