New Story Florida Volleyball Hosts Georgia Southern in Fan Day Exhibition

Saturday’s admission is free for fans attending the 2 p.m. match.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. –
Florida volleyball opens the 2024 season with a Fan Day exhibition match on Saturday against Georgia Southern inside the Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center. Match time is slated for 2 PM, with post-match autographs to follow.

Admission is free for fans attending Saturday’s exhibition, with gates opening at 1 p.m. 250 autograph books will be given out that can be signed by Florida’s volleyball team following the match. Additionally, those in attendance can pick up the 2024 Gator volleyball poster.

* Florida’s 20 player roster<https://floridagators.com/sports/womens-volleyball/roster> includes 12 returners, six freshman and two transfers.
* All-American Kennedy Martin, fifth-year returners Elli McKissock and AC Fitzpatrick, seniors Gabrielle Essix and Trinity Adams, All-American setter Alexis Stuck and Emily Canaan all return for Mary Wise’s 34th season.
* The Gators welcome redshirt senior Isabel Martin and graduate transfer Erin Engel. During her 2023 season at UNLV, Martin was a 2023 AVCA All-American Honorable Mention, 2023 AVCA All-Region First Team Selection and named the 2023 Mountain West Co-Player of the Year. Hailing from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Engel returns to her home state after spending her last three seasons at Maryland.
* Freshmen Alec Rothe, Taylor Parks and Ella Vogel arrived on campus this past spring, with Jaela Auguste, Lauren Harden and Bella Lee joining the three fresh faces this past June.
