No Covid vaccine has received formal approval from the FDA. They all have EUA's (Emergency Use Authorizations). Vaccines and treatments to cure and prevent disease go through various test & research phases, each including more people and gathering more data to ensure efficacy and safety.

All of us were happy with warp speed because it gives people the option to get a vaccine faster than normal so we could all go back to normal.

I for one will not be getting the vaccine solely based on no long term data.
