"Meatball Ron" is now trending on Twitter. No idea where that comes from.
So, if Elon endorses, does that make him a Bush / Rove establishment figure?
Yes. But I believe this all controlled leaks ( DeSantis building hype? )...part of politics I guess.
I suspected things may move in this general direction. You gotta admit, if he can get Elon on team Florida, that a huge deal for my boy.
Elon needs cash. Fast. Twitter was about to go belly-up when he bought it, and the new CEO he brought in was hired mainly to appease advertisers.
So that means Elon can't endorse Trump, cause she would catch the vapors, plus Trump runs a competitor to Twitter. And he can't stand Hiden, so he's not endorsing him.
So my guess is he endorses Ron, and is smart enough to understand that the media will go apeshit over this announcement, and now the media can focus more on Elon than DeSantis.
It gives Elon media exposure for Twitter, which is why he is doing it.
But if he endorses DeSantis then THAT can become the story the media reports, moreso than DeSantis announcing.
DeSantis may have just outsmarted himself. We'll see how it plays out.

There is a LOT to love about DeSantis. Some do not mind RINO's. They are not real America FIRST conservatives in my book. That is Donald Trump. I am 100% America first, MAGA voter. (almost typed Republican, but they piss me off almost as bad as dimwits)

So I do not think so. He is changing his announcement dates back and forth. Yesterday, it was supposed to be this week. This morning..it was he was supposed to file paperwork and announce next week. Now...he is announcing tomorrow. That is NOT a well thought out plan. More like flying by the seat of his pants. Now PLEASE..I am NOT againsts DeSantis. I want Trump more...but I think Ron COULD be the future of our party. He never will be sleeping with these POS's that are running his campaign. There is NO ONE that hopes he ditches them more than me. He COULD be VERY, VERY good for America. He is NOT there yet, and it has become very obvious to me. He is like a true Frosh QB that wants to play his first year...but that is not QUITE ready yet. I still believe he is VERY smart, and will correct these issues. For America's sake...I REALLY hope that he does
@jfegaly and I had a plan for DeSantis that was going to guarantee him 8 years as President, and would end up with him saving America and being an even bigger hero than Trump. He would have ended up with the 5th spot on Mt Rushmore, and it would have launched the America First movement for another generation. At least.
But he decided that listening to the Bush clan was the smart play.

In a football analogy, DeSantis is the #1 QB in the nation, 5-star that will win 3 NCs for Florida.....but he's been busted drinking and driving 3 times since signing with Florida in Feb. IOW, you WANT to believe he will clean up his act and play for Florida, but it's beginning to look like he's a lost cause.
Same thing with DeSantis. We WANT to believe he will get his head on straight, but he just keeps making bad decision after bad decision. Kinda like this, why go on Twitter in an AUDIO CHAT and announce? Why not have a Town Hall on Fox and have Paul Ryan put a crew of pubs out there to gush about him for an hour?
It's a big win for Elon, I just don't see any upside for DeSantis.
WTF are you talking about here? His net worth is way more than that now. And he is being backed by many of the wealthiest donors around already. Then there was the book tour. There are many reasons he waited this long to declare.

No Sir. I am quite sure about my beliefs. you can go WAY back and read posts. I REALLY like Desantis. I HATE establishment candidates. I despise RINO's. I believe they are in bed with the democrats, and that is bad for America. To make things very simple, my whole beliefs, right or wrong are about what helps our Country, and everyone that lives here(legally). I am not done with Ron. This guy has rock star potential. IF this stuff is true about letting the Bush's run his campaign...I SERIOUSLY question his judgment. /and his polling numbers back that up at this time. I think he could be INCREDIBLE for America one day.

DeSantis is definitely controlled by the crooked establishment. They planned this out well over a year ago. They suck at trying to successfully execute their plan though.
