Until you get a QB AND a D coordinator, you won't beat Georgia . Does FF even compete 60% of his passes?.... and us Dawg fans know ALL ABOUT Todd Grantham . Really , I think Mullen is a good head coach and a better O coordinator but he's not on Kirby's level , especially in recruiting . I mean over Kirby's first 10 at Georgia I could see maybe 2 wins for y'all.... and one of those are already gone. I believe we could see a "Spurrier" like run from UGA against Florida right now
Delusional thinking.
Since 2014, Florida is
3-2 against Georgia.
Since 2008, UF is
6-5 against Georgia.
Since 2005, UF is
8-6.. " "
Since 1998, UF is
14-7 " "
Since 1990, UF is
21-8 " ".
Since 1952, Florida is 38-28 over Georgia -
For the last 66 years, the Gators have been
10-games better than the bulldogs!
========================================================
In 2019, Franks threw for
2450ish yards,
24 TD's, 6 ints
and rushed for
350 yards (4th in team rushing),
7 TDs (tied for 1st w/Perine). Florida has a very good,
duel-threat quarterback and Franks should excel again after a year of experience playing under Dan Mullen's spread-option offense. Look for Mullen to put in a few more, new wrinkles in his offense in 2019. The Gators also have an experienced, deep receiving corps coming back, too (Jefferson, Hammond, Grimmes, Swain, Toney & Cleveland).

Franks stats in his first year under Mullen's offense is very comparable to Fromm's stats in 2017 (as a freshman) when Georgia went to the playoffs:
2600ish yards,
24 TD's, 7 ints and 79 yards rushing (3 rushing TD's). Both Fromm and Franks threw for a similar amount of yards and had the same number of TDs/ints.
In 2018; however, Fromm improved slightly in the passing game (2750 passing yards, 30 TD's) but
not so much in the rushing game: 41 rushes/
-27 yards/ 0 TDs. I guess Justin Fields was utilized more as the rusher (266 rushing yards & 4 rushing TDs) but he will not be available at Georgia in 2019.

As for Florida's defense, the Gators have given up less than (21-14 pts) in
8 out of 13 games (UF scoring defense:
20.4 ppg - 20th)
Meanwhile Georgia has given up a similar amount of points in 9 out of 14 games (UG scoring defense:
18.5 ppg - 16th)
In 2018, the defenses for both Florida and Georgia have been a push.
