Amidst the bad news today, this nugget should help...

On a national championship caliber level, Kirby is not proven. The dog fans, mainly hound dog numbers claims Kirby is the bestest in the whole wide world and will win multiple (like 10) straight national titles.

On another note ol Gus has beaten Saban in recent times.
Ask the bammer why saban has never beaten a 9 win barner team

Well going by that UF didn't play their A game vs Mizzou...

We saved it for the bowl game... unlike another team I know of.
And it was a good win. Reminded me of those Mark Richt days. Played out of our minds one week, then we’d play some no name that would almost kick our ass and we’d be like wtf

Assume you're referring to Justin Rogers(?). I didn't realize there was a mid-May signing period. ;)

He may or may not commit to UK, but our coaching staff has made up a lot of ground with him and will be a player in his recruitment.
That’s the one. Did you know the QB we flipped from Ohio State is from the same high school? Just checking because I’m guessing this is news to you o_O

You guys got destroyed by an Orge coached team...and Vodka Tom...22 paper Champs
Tough place to play. I do salute you all for that win there a few years ago. The wedding party I was in that Saturday afternoon may or may not have been a little late to the wedding due to that goal line stand....

You are correct, this past season you played out of your minds vs UF and had the wtf moment vs LSU led by Orge.

We have one of his best friends from MI, McCall which was the #1 recruit from MI two years ago who is constantly in his ear. Plus he has been to our campus numerous times. I guess that news to you. ; )

Yeah but Kirby is ready to f****ing eat!

Crow? Bwahahahaha!

Like the Texas Bowl Game when your players were talking shit about how the CFP Committee got it wrong?

More Crow? LMBFAO!! ( Even a Butt Sniffer could decipher errrrr. It’s a Bulldog L.G. could understand what that means.. )

So, it’s Crow at Kirby’s House errrrr.. Again L.G. It’s Bulldogs, at Kitby’s Double or is it Triple Wide as he is Head Leg lifter.

LMGAO!!!

Lol, indeed it is...it actually wouldn’t bother me if he went to Kentucky. I like your coach; he would kick ass at UF. Classy coach that doesn’t run his mouth. He had a lot to do with jimbo’s success at FSU.

UF pounded LSU at home, LSU pounded UGA at LSU. They've not lost at home in October since 2009. They're not road warriors, but do play very well in BR.

We’re only interested in playoff and championship games these days, boi!

I guess sorry ass McElwain got lucky he played em in November huh?

Superior dogs not much on the road in October despite all the recruiting talk.

So using that logic, why all the chest thumping over a freakin Peach Bowl victory?
What chest bumping are you talking about? We have won quite a few more national titles than you have and have at least won them in modern times.

Were you even alive the last time UGA won a natty?

He did get lucky as they've beat 5 top 10 teams at home during that run and 1 top 2 team. Voodoo in October in Baton Rouge

And how’d that work out for you last year?
The realistic Georgia fans didn’t expect playoffs last year. We expected to lose to bama in the sec championship game knowing we were going to be hell on wheels in 2019 and 2020.

So the team who has outrecruited Bama, has the best young coach in the country, the best oline coach in the country, the best strength coach in the country, the best running backs in the country, and a 1st round QB expects to lose games? Something isn’t adding up. Y’all shouldn’t expect to lose to anybody given all that. What’s the deal?

Not to mention they lost 3 games with all of that! How does that happen?

That first number 1 class that Kirby out recruited saban with were freshmen last year...

So the two classes in which Kirby out recruited saban will be freshmen and sophomores this year. It’s a process brother, get your popcorn ready...

You act as if Bama has been sitting idly waiting for y’all to pass them. What’s funny is they’ve had the #1 class two out of the last 3 years on the composite. And all their best players were true sophomores last year. You might be in for a rude awakening.

Oh look, Georgia fans crowing about recruiting.

And yet, where did Georgia finish after the 2018 season?
Florida - #6
LSU - #7
Georgia #8
Texas - #9

I’m not in for anything. I’ve said all along there is no longer a talent gap between the two programs and it’s time for us to put up or shutup. We’ve proven we can play with them. Y’all still need to prove you can play with us o_O

Florida finished 3rd in the east. Very close to 4th with a loss to South Carolina. Even Vandy had your number until the big RB went down.

But somehow or another those low ranked recruits and that horrible coaching staff...while led by an inept head coach found a way to overcome the adversity.

Meanwhile all that gap closing talent with the world class coaching staff...led by the universal Mecca of a head coach found a way to falter down the stretch to LSU and Texas. Two teams that have always recruited well but nothing of the magnitude of Alabama...or all the rankings you shit for brains talk about.

The talent gap ain’t closing brotha, keep telling yourself that. This season we will have 22 five stars on our roster to your 0

Where once did I even mention any talent gap closing?

If anything our talking point is how Mullen coaches up talent. He had the best run in MSU history. A place that has never been a host of winning much. He made a no name recruit by the name of Dak Presscott into a college star and now he is a household name in NFL QB talks. Nick Fitz did wonders considering where he came from. Nobody knew nothing of him. Mullen never had star studded classes at MSU but he was competitive in the best division of college football and pulled off upsets along with successful seasons.

He took over a team with a losing record from a coach who had shitty recruiting. He had a QB who honestly looked like total shit the season before along with a high school backup and an athlete who had flaws as a true QB in Emory Jones. He took that team from 4 wins to 10 wins. He continued the dominance over UT, ended the losing streak to FSU and Michigan. He even pulled off an upset vs LSU.

Meanwhile Kirby took over a talented team from a coach who always had competitive talent. A coach who recruited well. A coach who left two NFL RB's along with other pro level talent on the roster. Kirby started his first year with losses to Lyle Jones and Jim McElwain of all people along with other losses. But Dan is sorry for losing early in the season to one of UK's best teams in forever along to Missouri with a pro drafted QB and one of it's best offenses. Kirby had an awesome season his second year but still showed signs of questionable decisions during crunch time. During year 3 despite all of that recruited talent that "closed the gap" on Bama, he loses to Ed Orge and Vodka Tom Herman. Two places he has beaten in recruiting rankings.

If anything we think if Mullen fills needs, recruits the right fit for his schemes, and continues to develop the talent he has that he can be successful at UF. Nothing about closing any damn gaps. All of these gaps your world class recruiter has closed, he's still pissed away opportunities to win big with the exception of the SECCG two years ago. Besides recruiting...what are the signs of Kirby leading UGA to the promise land? Other than hoping he pulls a Phil Fulmer or Mack Brown by having the talent and being in the right place at the right time with other teams slipping up during the season?

I do think Kirby will pull a Brown/Fulmer before it's all said and done. Although I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled a Richt career of always almost being there and never getting it. Honestly I have no idea of what Mullen will do at UF other than splitting with UGA and pulling off a.few SEC championship wins. Mullen may pull one out of his azz and beat a Saban team in the SECCG but his likely bet is to catch the game when an Auburn or LSU catches Bama slipping and makes the title game....like Kirby did two years ago.

Saban called a fake FG in a game he was already trailing by 15. Kirby called a fake punt at midfield in a tie game late in the 4th quarter. Completely different situations.

But Dabo absolutely out-coached Saban in the NC game. It was the worst effort by a Saban staff since he arrived at Alabama. By a mile.
Nick chose to kick an improbable FG as well.

Speaking of questionable calls....Bama wasn’t in that year due to the “kick six FG” I think. And all of this “Mullen can out-coach KS”....that is your opinion and it won’t change but their couple of meetings head to head have offered evidence otherwise. The game in Athens he was out of it before breaking a sweat with us using a true freshman QB in his 2-3 game of starting. All these guys can coach...no disputing that. And some run their mouths well also.

If wins against MSU are the measuring stick of success, cool.

The kick 6 year was like way back when Jemis Winston was at FSU. Not when Kirby was at UGA. Anyway Saban's done more than enough to earn questionable calls. A kick 6 is a rarity that hardly happens, especially in a prime game. A fake punt call has been stopped countless times in the history of college football. When you see a base defense on the field you either take a time out or delay of game. When you have 1 second on the clock and a chance to win the game...you kick the FG with your regular FG unit.

And I can't speak for others but I myself never said one can out coach the other. Ive basically said one turned a conference doormat into a respectable program and later took over a team with a losing record...with one of the worst playing QB's... The team coming off two coaching horrible hires into an instant 10 win program.

It's dang ludicrous to say Kirby didn't take over a program with better circumstances.

Wasn’t Florida coming off 2 SEC East crowns in 3 years under Mc? On the fakes and FGs....it may have cost us the game....hard to tell....kick six also decided a game. I don’t have blind loyalty to any coach we have ever had...but some of the arguments here about one coach being so much better based on turning around a team who appeared to quit on the former coach......questionable to me. Time will tell I guess

4th & Dumb took over a stable 10-3 team and went 8-5.

Dan took over a 4-7 team in shambles, with the #10 rated QB in the SEC, and went 10-3 with a NY-6 Bowl win over #7 Mich.
