Chaos isn't a pit. Chaos is a ladder.

With our coaching change and the bump class that we are all hoping for - I can't help but think that all of the blue chip coaching changes causing a little bit of chaos is a great thing for us. USC, ND, LSU, OU, Clemson, PSU all have or likely will have a head ball coach or a significant coordinator moving on. These are perennial top 15 classes that along with us are going to be seeing a lot of change. And I wonder if that doesn't cause a number of top flight recruits to postpone till Feb so they can evaluate the landscape a little better.

FSU getting $20 million from county tax for "stadium repairs"

💀

After lengthy public comment against the proposal and an attempt to reduce funding, Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency officials committed $20 million in funding for repairs to Florida State University’s football stadium.

The same analysis found that investing in Doak Campbell Stadium would likely mean more than $102 million in overall economic impact stemming from home football games and other in-stadium events such as concerts.

Greetings

Coming in hot from 1st&10. Just a heads up to the locals about what you're getting from the incoming crew. We are a pretty tight group who actually meet up a decent amount in the real world during home and away games, FNL etc. We have several members who are extremely close to the program and bring serious knowledge or what's going on regarding recruiting and team info. You will probably find out on your own who those people are. All I ask is that we give this thing some time to transition and not be a huge cluster like the other site merger was. I promise from Higdon and the insiders coming over, you will be getting the best info in the biz. I have seen them all in action and can vouch for them all. Hopefully we get to meet some of you clowns soon. I am sure we will have a Spring Game meet up and hopefully no one ends up at a Hookah Lounge till 5am like someone I know here.

Tidbit heard during interview w/Ragin Cajun reporter

Maybe this is old news but I was not aware that the regime prior to Billy arrival at ULL were playing fast and loose and were busted by the NCAA. The ncaa slapped them with some recruiting restrictions and scholarship reductions that went into Napiers time

In Napier first year it was 30 scholarships, 2nd year it was 27 scholarships

Despite the heavy NCAA shackles around his ankles Napier did the following

Sunbelt class ranking

2018- 5th (not technically Billy first class)

2019- 1st

2020 – 1st

2021 – 1st

It can't be just me

that feel excited about recruiting again. The man hasn't step foot on campus yet and we are already hearing good things about kids looking at us again. This offseason should be fun and we could not say that for almost 10 years now. I can not wait until we start seeing real dudes fill up our commitment list instead of trying to convince ourselves that this so and so 3 star is a real diamond in the rough

Possible assistants without ties to Napier...

I did a list a week or so ago of coaches with ties, but here are a few I have heard thrown around that do not have ties and most are thought of as good or grat recruiters.

DL Charlie Partridge- Currently the DL coach for Pitt. Originally from Plantation, FL, and was the HC at FAU from 2016-2016.
DL Brian Williams- Currently the DL coach for Maryland. Originally from Miami, attended Florida A&M, and has coached at Rickards High School, Godby High School, and Miami Central High.
DB Torrian Gray- I don't need to say much here. Originally from Lakeland, coached here before, currently at USCe.
CB Rod Chance- Originally from Fort Lauderdale and an STA alum. Coached HS in GA. Currently the CB coach for Oregon.
RB Ja'Juan Seider- Again a man that needs no introduction for Gator fans. Originally from Belle Glade and currently the RB coach at PSU.
OC/QB Tom Herman- Former OC under Meyer at OSU and then HC at Texas. Currently an offensive analyst with the Bears.
OC/QB Tim Beck- A UCF alum and former coach at Mirmar HS. OC under Meyer at OSU and now the OC at NC State.
CB Travaris Robinson- A Miami native and currently the DB coach at UM. Has a history at UF obviously.

I'll see if I can dig up any more.

Cedric Baxter 6' 1" 215 lbs, CO 23 RB Orlando Edgewater

This kid is the truth, ranked #9 Rivals.com from what I'm told, Alabama has already already had an in home visit. I am not sure if we have even tried. Recruiting should be all times, we should be recruiting all these kids full time, then at the end be in a position to have to decide who we take, not come in strong at the end when our top two targets say they are headed elsewhere.
