Mullen went 10-3 last season with a QB-pp Franks, setting records not equaled since Tebow and Mullen left UF. --- Mullen has repeatedly stated that he doesn't need a 'running QB' just a QB that's willing and able to run when that's the best option. Earlier this week, Dan Mullen’s staff dipped into North Carolina and gave the green light to Clinton High School product #36 OLB Mohamed Kaba 6-3 205 *** 5.6.
Kaba, who also boasts offers from Neutered Lame, Choke-la-homo, and tennis-sea, received an offer from Christian Robinson on Tuesday. The three-star prospect spoke to Gators Territory’s Corey Bender and recapped his reaction to hauling in an offer from Florida.
“Everybody knows about Florida pretty much. Big time,” Kaba said. “They’ve been a winning program for a long time, so it really was great to receive an offer from them.” The 14th-ranked prospect in North Carolina intends on visiting UF in the future. “I have something scheduled to go there,” Kaba said of going down to Gainesville. “I don’t have a date on it yet, but it will be unofficial.”

While technically true...Dan won by default. UGA was down to 1 open spot (per reports) and 5 Star WR Pickens took it before Elam reached out for it. Had Both Nauta (NFL) & Ford (Transfer closer to home) not both left, UGA would not have had to exhaust a last minute spot on TE and could have taken Elam who they wanted as well. With Athens out scholly's...Dan benefited.
So yes..Dan won this battle as the other guy was out of bullets, though taking aim at Pickens propelled the Dawgs to #1 in the Rivals.Com rankings for the second year in a row though they only ended up #2 in the Composite rankings.

The list includes multiple uncommitted prospects on UF’s board, in addition to several top prospects — such as Alabama DB commit Jahquez Robinson — committed elsewhere.
In addition to the slate of highly touted recruits in town, the Gators expect multiple Gator committed prospects to make the trip to UF. -- 5-star WR Leonard Manuel, f4-star WR Jaquavion Fraziars, 4-star FS Rashad Torrence II and 3-star DE Morven Joseph intend to be on site Saturday for Florida’s latest Junior Day. With several 2021 prospects in the fold as well, the Gators expect Vanguard teammates Bryce Langston and Trevonte Rucker to make the trip north to UF. IMG Academy OL George Jackson is also expected on campus, in addition to fellow commit Kamar Wilcoxson.

Miami announced on Tuesday that the NCAA has approved a waiver to make tOSU QB transfer immediately eligible for competition this upcoming season. 3* hunchback Dan stays @ #6 in rivals recruiting after adding another # 3 qb recruit out of Gainesville.
Great pickup in Anthony Richardson at QB. He has a higher ceiling than Emory Jones and Jalon Jones. Is ranking will climb as well and he’s an Elite 11 QB. Glad we got him to recommit.
