If you want to make a valid comparison tell us what UGA’s offense was ranked in 2015 and then what it was ranked year 1 under Kirby. Then tell us what UF’s offense was ranked last year and what it was ranked this year under Mullen. You’ll find the facts show that one teams offense improved substantially on the first year under their coach while the other teams offense took a nosedive. Guess which is which?
Otherwise I’m not sure why you’re comparing UF’s offense in year 1 in a new system to UGA’s offense in year 3 with an established system and players. Especially when the coach in year 1 inherited an offense ranked in the 100’s. But y’all make a killing making dumb arguments and comparisons.
Let me help you. He said our offense was unimaginative. I simply asked who's offense was better last year? On top of that, your OL was loaded with upperclassmen while we had 1 senior and the rest underclassmen.

Now that they got Coley their offense is only going to get worse and continue to be unimaginative. Coley was promoted just to be Kirby’s puppet not because he’s actually a good offensive play caller. Kirby is not that much different than Muschamp when it comes to offensive philosophy. Both very old school.

Let’s see. UF has 3 National titles and UGA has 1. UGAs was so long ago nobody alive remembers it. UF also has 3 Heisman Trophy winner and UGA has 1.
UGA has the arrogance of Notre Dame but the tradition of a Wake Forest. Hell even Georgia Tech has a national title more recently than UGA.
And you finally passed tech in SECC by the grace of the 90s. Do SEC trophies nit count now? We are talking about trophy cases, right? Goal posts moved again.

Of course they count. We have more national titles than UGA. Aren’t those the ultimate goal and even bigger than SEC titles. We have 3x’s as many national titles as UGA.
I know you don’t want to accept it but UF has had a much more successful football program than UGA.

Let’s recap. Somebody called UGA’s offense unimaginative. You responded by asking which of UF’s or UGA’s offense was better. That’s a relevant question because why? An offense can be effective and unimaginative, especially if they’re talented. It was a dumb attempt at deflection. UGA’s offense is better than Washington St’s too, Washington State still has the more creative offense.
Furthermore, why are you comparing UF’s offense to UGA’s offense anyway? Nobody else was. And you’re in year 3, UF is in year 1, why the hell would UF’s be better? Especially considering they’d been ranked in the 100’s each or the last 3 years. Were they supposed to be a top offense this year or something? Which was the whole point I made to you to begin with. UGA’s offense sucked year 1 under Kirby, Mullen’s offense was one of the most improved in the country in year 1. Yet you think you’re making a valid comparison comparing UGA’s offense after 3 years to UF’s after one. So again, the question was dumb and had no relevance.
So Mullen is urban 2.0 and Kirby is muschamp 2.0, according to you all, but he can’t make that comparison? Our offense will put up better numbers this year too, and you’ll still be making excuses.
Unlike the majority of you idiots I haven’t proclaimed Mullen anything. Find a post saying otherwise. And what exacuse did I make exactly? Everything I posted is facts. UF’s offense has sucked for damn near a decade, outside the top 100 six of the last 7 years. Mullen got them top 40 in one year. Nobody needs to make excuses for that improvement. Acknowledging they weren’t gonna be elite in year 1 isn’t making excuses. That argument coming from you all is especially hilarious.
Within this one thread we’ve had dumb decisions and bad losses by Kirby dismissed because it was year one, he’s only been a head coach for 3 years, his recruits are young, he needed better players than Richt brought in blah, blah blah but me saying UF’s offense in year 1 wouldn’t and shouldn’t be as good as UGA’s after 3 years is making excuses. Seems legit. It’d be great if y’all read your own posts before spinning yourself like a top.
I think Mullen is going to turn Florida into a force, have never said otherwise. Not sure why the gator fans can’t give Kirby any credit, though. It’s just weird.

By year 3 Mullen’s offense at UF is going to be one of the best in the country. It’s going to start looking like those offenses we had under Meyer.
Richt’s first three years weren’t the problem. It was his last 6-7. He should have been fired in 2010 when he stopped giving a shit.

Actually outside of Harvin it was mainly 3* & 4* players that were making big plays in the UF offense with Mullen as the OC. Tim Tebow, Louis Murphy, Riley Cooper, Jeff Demps, Chris Rainey, Aaron Hernandez, Brandon James, David Nelson, Andre Caldwell, Dallas Baker, Jemalle Cornelius & Cornelius Ingram. In fact we are actually recruiting better at the RB position then we did under Meyer.
Yes the UF offense is going to be elite by Mullen’s 3rd year.
I don’t have time to go back and look up all of Meyer’s recruits, so let’s just agree that he recruits at a higher level than Mullen and leave it at that. I don’t care what your 2020 and 2021 classes look like now, the closers will close, and you will fall back, trust me.
But I do agree that your offense will continue to improve under Mullen.
And as you can see recruiting isn’t everything If you don’t have a coach that knows what he is doing on gamedays as you guys know from first hand experience.
