ND's Last mythical NC was 1988.
ND's Last shot at a BCS-NC was UA 42 - 14 ND.

2015 ND is 4-0 over their usual slate of cupcakes:

ND 38 - 3 over 1-3 Texas who's only win is over Rice.

ND 34 - 27 for a +7 over unranked 1-3 Va. who's only win is over William & Mary.

ND 30 - 22 over 2-2 GaTech who just got schooled by Dukie. their only win are over AlcornSt & Tulane.

ND 62 - 27 +35 over Mighty 0-3 U-Mass who also lost by 34 pts to unranked Colo.

UF Beat ECU, and they just beat VT for the 2nd year in a row.
UF Won @ UK, then UK went to former #25 Mizz, 2x SECe-C's and beat them.
UF Beat Tenn, and it took #15 Okla 2 OT's to beat Tenn by 7 pts, 31 - 24.

To me, it seems that both ND and Clemp's-son suffer from who they have played compared to UF's early schedule, much less who they have left to play compared to the rest of UF's opponents. :eek:

The 1,400 media-morons at SEC Media Days picked UGA to win the SECe, with Tenn as the 'Dark Horse' pick to win it. They picked Auburn to win the SECw and then the SEC-C over either UGA or Tenn.

All that being said, media-moron rankings (AP) should be mostly ignored or looked at for what they are, (not much) when it comes to knowing how good or bad a team will be. :rolleyes:

To me, the UF vs MS game is a much better contest than the media-moron hyped one.
At least we have both played some decent teams so far, which they have not.

This one is tough.

Notre Dame is highly overrated, the first team with a pulse will put them down.

Clemson is in the ACC.
 
Disagree. ND has lost I don't know how many players to injuries and is still rolling. IDK if they finish top 10, but they've lost their starting QB, starting RB, two starting d-linemen, a corner, etc. and are still undefeated, gotta give em props for that. And Clemson's defense is legit, I love the speed on that defense. Their offense has been disappointing to me though I expected them to roll up the points this year, but they're also having to play a lot of freshmen upfront so I'm sure that has something to do with it. Their offense is a little bit overrated at the moment, but that defense can play with anybody.

Clemson lost their offensive coordinator. That is their main problem on offense right now.

By far. The championship winner better be undefeated, or if not, better hope the cahmp of one of the other P5 conferences has two losses. Otherwise, they will be outside looking in
 
NC State and Duke will be ranked soon. Miami hasn't lost yet. There might well be 4 or 5 ranked teams by next weekend. Besides GT and Lville disappointing I'm not sure where this "by far the worst comes from."
 
We really don't know much about most teams. It is still too early in the season. Heck, even Ole Miss and Bama maybe good, but not great. Who knows?

The teams that look good so far are Utah, UCLA, A&M, even Michigan looks improved, but we will know more in a couple of weeks. Kentucky has improved some, but others have fallen off the cliff (Aub, SC....)

Virginia Tech??? Duke possibly being ranked doesn't speak well for the rest of the conference.

The ACC is trash. Yeah Miami sucks again. Another ACC team losing to a AAC team. By far the worst of the Power 5 conference and here I thought FSU fans were telling us the ACC was getting better. LOL

Virginia is a powerhouse also. LOL. To go along with Wake Forest, Pitt, UNC, Miami, VT, Cuse and LVille. Over half the teams in the ACC are complete trash.

GT was not favored to win the ACC. They were picked third behind Clemson and FSU. And lol at thinking that beating Virginia Tech is anything to crow about. They are where we were under Bowden at the very end but without the recruiting to bail the incompetent head coach out. They are dead in the water until Beamer is pushed out.

What's funny is that you guys think you are a better team than Duke. You're not.

LOL. The ACC is as bad now as it ever was. It isn't getting any better. What's comical is you actually think the ACC is a good football conference. When are you going to figure out the ACC is a basketball conference. It will never be a good football conference.

Yeah we know what your opinions are good for. You keep trying to tell us the ACC isn't awful. Sorry but your letting your bias either get to you or you know nothing about college football.

Really?? Is that the best you can do? The proof is in the pudding based on facts. The ACC doesn't have very many national championships in football and year after year they don't have very many good football teams. This is all facts.

Do you really think the ACC is a good football conference? Nobody in the entire country thinks the ACC is a good football conference. Not even normal FSU fans. MJ already provided the link.
 
No, as of right now the ACC is not a good conference. I just don't believe it's by far the worst. I don't believe there is that big a gap between the Big 10, Big 12 and ACC.

The Big 10 is absolutely terrible as well. Just not as bad as the ACC.
 
Miami just got beat by double digits by a team that lost to Temple and Memphis. That it how bad Miami is.
