Not disagreeing with you, my comment was only directed at "when have we seen R's abuse their power for political advantage?

What the whole "Russiagate" business establishes, beyond question, is people in positions of power felt no moral imperative to act decently.
There's a couple of points here:
First, why didn't we see this level of weaponization against either of the Bushes? Why is Trump different?
Second, I don't think they are doing this cause they are corrupt, it's about survival. Trump campaigned on the fact that ALL of these people are CRIMINALS, and that he was going to PUT THEM IN JAIL.

He said over time, the sheep will become louder and louder, and those resisting will slowly give in and just 'accept' that this is the way things are from now on. Eventually, the US will be left with only sheep, and those that have given up. He said at that point, Russia will take over, because there will be no one left to oppose them.
But this is the key.....he said when they arrive to take over, the sheep will SUDDENLY wake up and realize they have been hoodwinked. He said when that happens, they will begin to VIOLENTLY oppose the Russians, but of course by that time it will be far too late.
He then clarified that these sheep would then be OBSOLETE in the new society here and WOULD HAVE TO BE ELIMINATED.
