USF @ Florida game...

Hate to say it but if he doesn't start improving he is a Jones level QB.

Yep. I said it earlier that I didn't think he was much different than Jones. Even last year, I thought that and that people loved AR15 on what he could be, and not what he was....at least what he was currently.

Its not about experiance.

I won't say he can't change or improve.....but I never bought into the hype based on what I saw.

People tend to forget that Jones and Felipe Franks could make some beautiful passes as well. The problem is that they couldn't do it commonly enough and be trusted with the ball.

I was hoping he could turn into a Newton type QB but their is nothing on tape to suggest he can passing wise so far.

This is one of those damned if you do, damned if you don't games. If the Gators win in a blowout, people will say that's what was supposed to happen. If they win, say 27-17, people will be complaining that we were terrible and didn't play well. I just want to see AR make good decisions and accurate throws and I want to see receivers getting open.
We were terrible and didn't play well.

Jordan Rogers is a good commentator. It's like we are playing AR15 safe these last two games to keep him from getting injured. We have 4 capable RB's and a freak running QB and we are not mixing it up and letting AR do his thing. Too much simple passing plays.
He said that at times USF was the better team. Have to disagree. Most of the game USF was the better team.

We were lucky and we are also not very good. Coaching staff and some players need to take a hard look in the mirror about exactly what we want to be or what we are trying to do
Not sure why we continue to look worse every game. BYU beat the hell out of USF IN TAMPA. We needed every break and the refs doing their best to help us just to sneak out a win.

From what I'm seeing UT is going to run us out of the building.

BYU lit up USF in the passing game and our receivers couldn't get separation most of the time. AR just makes bad decisions too often. And on defense our line got dominated most of the game and the DB's played very soft coverage. Lots of missed tackles. USF was the more balanced and overall better team. We were very fortunate to win. If they play like this in Knoxville it will be a very ugly loss.

At least AR15 admits in the post-game interview that it's him that is the weak link on offense. So he's not delusional, that's a start towards fixing the problems, lol.
Being delusional and or being racked with fear is another subject! He’s as timid as my dog in a lightning storm.

I think if there is any chance for him to be a good QB we will see it in the Tenn game. He is a 3rd year player with quite a few games in. You will show it around now if you are ever going to have it.

That was a shit show. A NPC character would be a better start at QB right now. AR needs to get his head screwed on right. He's got talent, and he's pissing it away.
And very irritatingly, he's making Mullen look right to leave him on the bench.

And somehow I predict Gameday will show up in Knoxville with both of them ranked…just sayin

OK fellas, just got back home from the Gator bar. And yes, that was bat-shit ugly tonight. There is legitimate noise in the system regarding AR-15. This dude better get his act together or it's Pine Street (i.e. the bench) for him. Our running game is all we have. Our defense was down three starters but they still looked as if they can't hold a cup of water. Napier will be forced to pull the trigger in Knoxville next week at halftime. Trevor Etienne and Montrell Johnson Jr continue to shine. All in all, it boils down to #15. And right now, it isn't looking good at all for him.

If AR can't turn the corner this week, he's got to sit.

I see a lot of complaining about Napier's offense but I think he's damned if you do or don't. You've got to try to get AR involved and build some confidence passing, since he seems to refuse to run, but it's like with every series he sinks further and further into a rut.

I don't know that you can fix that.

I agree with the problems at QB. But the receivers, for the most part, aren't getting open. We have a lot of WR's on the team, but as a group they're just not very good, IMO. And equal to or greater than the offensive issues, our defensive line got absolutely dominated by USF. They ran for almost 300 yards and could have gotten much more if they had not passed as much as they did. We simply couldn't stop their running game. Our linebackers were missing their gaps as well and can't play pass coverage. We will get torched by good offensive teams unless great improvement is made very quickly.

Not so sure I agree with some of Napier's responses. Does he really know how bad the QB play is? If Miller gets healthy will he yank AR if he keeps playing poorly?
I've already seen Miller at QB.
I'd like to see Brown, or at least Kitna get a shot ahead of funky thumb Miller, because if Miller does bad, the pre-made excuse will be the thumb's not fully recovered....

Is it too late to get Todd back? ---- 😉
