I guess I should pin this for a few weeks to update like Jason does the MLL/Redzone. The reason for the update being I was asked to only list those that are official official. This means I will be removing William Harrod from the list of departures. I will simply move him to my list of possibles that is currently at 11-12. However, we should not read into that as to what it means for the future. This is just to avoid confusion moving forward. Our roster was at 87 this season, allowable due to 4 covid seniors. Instead of giving you the names in the order that they announced, I just split things into Offense/Defense.

12/19 Update: Gouraige officially declared via his tweet, making him officially official #30.
12/24 Update: Michael Tarquin (#31), Jordan Young (#32), and Tre'Vez Johnson (#33) officially announce their intentions to enter the portal.
12/24 Update #2: Ethan White (#34) tweeted his intentions to enter the portal.
12/31 Update: Rashad Torrence has declared for the NFL and becomes (#35) to depart.

We signed a class of (call it) 22, and then added Mertz as #23.

-(35) listed departures above put us at (52)...
(52) + (21) signees + (4) portal adds (Banks, Mertz, Jackson, & Mitchell)...lands us at (77) currently set to be enrolled in 2 weeks.
This is where it gets tricky but I don't think the way we are going about the portal it will affect us. Only 19 signees are January enrollees plus your 4 portals so far, the rule says stay under 85 at all times. No going over and cutting by a certain date. (52) + (23) is (75 with 2 pending enrollment) so we have room for 10 as of now if we were aggressive - but if you take 10 knowing you have 2 more coming in summer, you need 2 to leave before they enroll.
My Expectation:
I expect more attrition to continue, don't think we have slowed down yet. If I had to set an ideal number "for me", I would guess 38 total, or 3 more departures, giving us (74) meaning room for maximum 11 more portal kids between the remainder of the December/January portal window and April 15th through the 30th. I can rationalize 8-10 more portal kids when you break it down by position/need, but we will not max out to 85, though as close to it as we can get, the better. Small 2024 class ahead, only 6 seniors currently.
SEC Transfer Rule:
As a reminder, the SEC has not yet changed its SEC intra-conference transfer deadline of Feb 1st. Any SEC player wishing to transfer and remain in the SEC will need to enter the portal either before it "closes" mid January or get a special waiver(SEC undergrads should not wait until April to enter and expect to transfer to another SEC school). Graduates can enter at any time I believe.
