Looks like the UK and France are hoping to come up with some framework of a deal that the US would go along with now but they keep talking about peacekeeping forces being in Ukraine. I think that is a non-starter for Russia as far as being anywhere near that Eastern area and I am not sure Russia would allow any sizable amount of NATO country troops anywhere inside Ukraine.
And don't forget The Big Guy always gets his cut.

I won't hold out hope, but the meeting in Europe this morning should show you who it was who had the stupid take on this.

I predict Trump will come out and spin this Zelensky thing to reflect that he got Europe to spend more money on Ukraine and you guys will believe that was the essence of what happened here. It wasn't.

President Truman signed the National Security Act of 1947 on board this VC-54C Presidential transport, the first aircraft used for the role of Air Force One, marking a major restructuring of the U.S. government’s military and intelligence apparatus in the years following World War II.
By memorandum of October 24, 1952, President Truman established the National Security Agency (NSA) as the organization within the U.S. government responsible for communications intelligence (COMINT) activities. Originating as a unit to decipher coded communications in World War II, it was officially formed as the NSA by President Harry S. Truman in 1952. Between then and the end of the Cold War, it became the largest of the U.S. intelligence organizations in terms of personnel and budget.
U.S. strategists saw the act as essential for enabling America’s future global mission of protecting and advancing Western interests (not American interests). The law’s architects could not have foreseen how this fundamental restructuring would revolutionize U.S. policy making in later years. It was the unification of the military departments, and the establishment of three major national security organizations: the National Security Council (NSC) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and the office of a civilian Secretary of Defense, (shadow government) It also established the super secret MJ-12 group following within days of the crash at Roswell, to hide the UFO/ET's from the sovereign American citizens.
The law, originally crafted with the intent of military and intelligence reorganization (the military/industrial complex that Eisenhower warned us of), evolved into something that would overhaul the Executive branch (essentially removing the peoples elected President from the real chain of command) and establish the essential framework for foreign policy making during and after the Cold War. The Shadow Government now had the tools to began taking over in a silent coup.

Speaking of defending, how are you able to defend Zelensky? You and @Hotlanta_Bill both claimed Trump would be a dictator, but Zelensky literally suspended elections so he could stay in power. He has the army driving around and kidnapping DOWN SYNDROME MALES and forcing them to fight in the army.
Zelenesky is the exact dictator that you guys said Trump would be.

Even when he was president, I was never embarrassed of America nor embarrassed to be an American and had anybody gone into the oval office and treated the office or the president of this country in that manner, regardless of political affiliation, I would be equally outraged, indignant, and supportive of the office and the president under those circumstances.
I have zero issue with political opposition, and I embrace the concept of the loyal opposition working through the government to try and support their point of view and their objectives. That’s not the issue.
The issue here is you’re embarrassed by America because a foreign president acted like a petulant child and disrespected our country, the office of the president, and the president and vice president of our country. And if you’re embarrassed by America because of that, then you need to get the **** out..

Sometimes we hold onto the enemies of our childhood way too long. Russia has not been our enemy in decades, but we still act like they are.
Meanwhile, the European Union has been ****ing us for three decades while we spend all of our money protecting their ass through NATO.
The media is outdoing their usual anti-Trump stuff with this situation. Trump needs to hold firm no matter how long it takes. Russia will just keep securing that area around Donbass better no matter how long it goes on. Europe can't stop or reverse what has happened. Only a cease fire makes any sense.
The democrats are doing this. Now I do NOT trust Putin...but other than nuclear weapons...Russia is NOT the power they once were. Ukraine gave them all they wanted with our weapons. Imagine if WE were using our AF, and all at our disposal. CHINA is who I keep an eye on....and democrats. THOSE TWO are America's biggest threats.

Sounds like Putin told Russians there would be no ceasefire without Ukraine removing any troops near that Donbass area and that NATO membership is off the table.
