No no.

You're supposed to furrow your brow and bitch and moan.

The only thing Del Rio had going for him was that he didn't throw interceptions. You could accept the limitations if he could move the offense SOME, not turn the ball over, and let the defense lead us to wins. So much for that.

The last thing I want to do is pull off a redshirt, but it may have to happen.

First time we have had 2 500 yards of offense games in a season since 2008. That is how bad things have been on offense around here.

LDR should stay the starter unless he has more games like this. But I definitely think we need to start giving one of the freshmen a few series a game. That way we get them experience while easing them in without too much pressure. Because next year Appleby is gone and I don't think LDR can lead a team to a championship unless you have a lot of talent around him. A lot. He's just way too limited physically.

Trying to figure out why he was forcing the ball so much in and around double coverage all night... didn't make any sense.

I woulda said rust, but a lot of those throws weren't bad decisions necessarily. But you could see on a good bit of them he just didn't have the arm to squeeze it in there. That's a physical limitation thing more than a bad decision thing.

I was actually giving him the benefit of the doubt because of the leg that's not 100 percent. Maybe his balance plus his thrust was also a key...

Never evaluate another man's thrust gatorRad...
Understood.... In other words, If that injured leg was feeling a little tweaked to LDR, he probably didn't want to set to much pressure on it, therefore his whole night was thrown the fug off!!!

I worry about LDR next year as the defense takes a step back. He isn't a guy who can carry an offense or win shootouts. At some point we are going to have to get a playmaker back there

LT Ivey 6-5 305 -- quick enough to stay with a DE
LG Sharpe 6-6 357 -- maybe he can see the center snap from there
C Dillard 6-4 313 -- he's our boy
RG Harkless 6-5 310 -- Johnson & Jordan just aren't there yet. :(
RT Taylor 6-5 340 -- still a raw Fr, but playing well

Perine at KR & primary RB -- Cleveland (or someone else) at PR
Cleveland-Hammond-Swain to get a little more playing time.
Worton and Fulwood to get 1 play/game, 2 if they run a good route, get open, and catch the ball if it's thrown to them.

Trask at least as the backup. With 2 weeks to prepare him, I'd even start him for UGA.
Trask doesn't need the entire play book, just 10 plays that they can execute.
Having the whole playbook is useless IF YOU CAN'T/DON'T EXECUTE THE PLAYS PROPERLY. o_O

IF Mc-Nuss continues with 'the fix is in' with those 2 Claribels, then I'd be all for dumping them both at the season's end and hiring 2 new guys to replace them, while keeping the rest of the excellent staff. Because imoho, those 2 and their choice for QB's are the biggest hangup to the Gators moving forward. Happy-by was a Grad-Sr waste of time, and LDR is just not a good enough player, he's coaching material.

They should have seen and known this post-spring and prepared either Trask or Franks for at least the backup role. At this point, I might pull the red-shirts off both Fr and let them begin to compete for the starting job on a permanent basis. (yeah, I'm pretty disgusted at this point, so maybe a grain of salt is needed...)
