Trump mass deportations

What?

Apaches can't transport wounded.
You are absolutely correct. The way I worded that is confusing. I love all of our military helicopter pilots and their willingness to land anywhere to help us. The Apache It is not designed to transport wounded, however,They can in an emergency and have

That said @LordofallSocks you do have to forgive me. I was a naval officer that served in the infantry with the Marines, I would frequently have to get people to tell me what kind of helicopter that was after they left.

Man, I love Apache. Loved it when they land to transport our wounded. Those pilots kicked ass. They were fearless. They land those damn things anywhere to help us with our wounded.
1776, you should prolly stick with the subjects that you already don't know well....

Oct 24, 2024 · The ability to rapidly and safely transport wounded personnel to medical facilities can significantly improve survival rates and reduce the severity of injuries. Over the years, various military forces around the world have developed and utilized a range of aircraft and systems for medevac operations.

Primary Medivacs:
Sikorsky R-4B's in WWII & Korea
UH-1 (Huey's) in VN
Sikorsky UG-60 Black Hawks now.
Other Helos have been used, HH-53, CH-47 and Ch-53 and several other at need among them.
The latest dedicated Medevac is the HH-60M

But the 2 seater Attack Apaches, never....

The Boeing AH-64 Apache (/əˈpætʃi/ ə-PATCH-ee) is an American twin-turboshaft attack helicopter with a tailwheel-type landing gear and a tandem cockpit for a crew of two. Nose-mounted sensors help acquire targets and provide night vision. It carries a 30 mm (1.18 in) M230 chain gun under its forward fuselage and four hardpoints on stub-wing pylons for armament and stores, typically AGM-114 Hellfire missiles and Hydra 70 rocket pods. Redundant systems help it survive combat damage.

I had to look it up, but I think I was thinking more of Blackhawks, but I did see an Apache transport a wounded person once.

But man is Blackhawk helicopter pilots would park that thing anywhere!!!

Again, forgive this naval medical officer
Lol
