Anyone in the illegal invading army that does not choose to leave voluntary and immediately and has to be forcibly removed, should be denied to ever be able to petition to enter legally in the future.

That's pretty much why they're leaving on their own so they can make another attempt at sneaking back into the US.

That makes no sense gd3. Sneaking back in would only get them thrown back out again with the same penalty imposed.

Am I missing something?

If they leave on their own now, then they can hope and work to return the legal way, otherwise, always an illegal that can and should be imprisoned on a 2nd offense. 1st offense is a simple deportation with no prison time, but with no chance of ever getting a legal shot at becoming a U.S. Citizen.
