I see DeSantis as a career senator, one of the pillars of the senate after his gov gig ...

He may never be President, but he definitely isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. I can see him have a Pelosi type influence (slight differences though since his influence would have things such as common sense and integrity) on the Rep Party.
