Man, I love the Apache. Loved the Blackhawks too*** when they land to transport our wounded. Those pilots kicked ass. They were fearless. They land those damn things anywhere to help us with our wounded.

You are absolutely correct. The way I worded that is confusing. I love all of our military helicopter pilots and their willingness to land anywhere to help us. The Apache It is not designed to transport wounded, however,They can in an emergency and have

That said @LordofallSocks you do have to forgive me. I was a naval officer that served in the infantry with the Marines, I would frequently have to get people to tell me what kind of helicopter that was after they left.

Other Helos have been used, HH-53, CH-47 and Ch-53 and several other at need among them.
The latest dedicated Medevac is the HH-60M
