The people who would be contacted to provide protection or assistance. This has been confirmed as a right wing talking point that isn't true. The right wing even said that Trump called the national guard and homeland security. That was also a lie. Pence called them. There are text of Meadows telling people to lie and say it was Trump to make Trump look good. Yet, I'm sure you guys know this already 🙄.
And that was a subject that they didn't want to be broached.

IMO, and that clearly means my opinion, you fall victim to confirmation bias a good bit. When you hear something that confirms what you want to believe, the debate is over for you.
When you hear something that confirms something that you don't want to believe, you scramble for a different source or you obfuscate.
We all do that to varying degrees. It's something that we should fight against...if we're actually searching for truth.

The people in charge confirmed nothing as such because they know this is nothing but their own kangaroo court set-up to keep Trump from running for office in 2024!
