Transfer Portal 2023-2024

Grayson Howard looks to be a solid pickup at LB. He played quite a bit for a freshman and is a solid 4 star in the transfer rankings.

"... 2023 Preseason SEC Freshman All-American..."

Is that one award or what?

Someone's opinion vs an actual award I'm guessing.
However, this is the important part to me:

failing to miss a single tackle per Pro Football Focus on the year in 221 total snaps.

This post was inspired by both TT and ocala..... 😁

QB-dt Aidan Warner 6-3 205 rsFr - PWO Winter Park, FL / Yale Xfer-In

I'd be a lot more excited about getting 5-star DJ IF.....
If I hadn't watched this offense and play calling with the NFL's #4 QB-dt draft pick.
And if I hadn't watched the loser results of the last 2 seasons....
While attempting to dump the results off on the trench monsters on both sides of the ball....

"He can take his'n',,,,, and lose to anybody on any given day.... (11-14) 😏

As we saw last night, you can have the best wide receiver corps in the country and the most accurate downfield passer in the country, but if the offensive line isn't getting the job done, it doesn't matter and you lose. On top of that Washington's O-line was named the best in D1 this year, but got dominated and pushed around all night by Michigan's defensive front.

So ocala, are you saying that Billy should have been recruiting 5-stars on both lines instead of at QB???
How's that been going for the last 3 recruiting classes?
😏

You gotta have elite or high quality players at all positions eventually, but to me it has to start in the trenches along with an elite QB. You build a program from the inside out, IMO. And since our O-line regressed from 2022 to 2023 and our D-line was equally inept both years, I would say the core problem isn't being properly addressed. But that's just me and I'm obviously not too smart. :)

Stop with all of this common sense fact based info..

It just takes a team like TCU to deal with good offensive lines.
