Top Five Most Wanted 2025 Offensive Recruits for the Florida Gators
(According to Hector)

The Florida Gators have already started working on their 2025 recruiting class with already three recruits committed. Florida has two offensive recruits committed, Waltez Clark and Josiah Abdullah.

With only three commits in their 2025 recruiting class, the Gators have plenty of room to add elite talent, especially on offense. Here are the five most wanted 2025 offensive recruits for the Florida Gators.

QB Antwann Hill

The Florida Gators signed the #1 quarterback in the country last cycle and will look to continue to improve their quarterback room. Georgia native Antwann Hill is one of the best quarterbacks in the nation and is considered a priority target for the Gators.

Antwann Hill is a 6’4” 210-pound pro-style quarterback out of Houston County High School in Warner Robins, Georgia. Hill is the 135th-ranked recruit and the ninth-ranked pro-style quarterback in the country.

Hill was previously committed to Colorado before re-opening his recruitment a month later. Hill is one of two quarterback targets that Florida is heavily recruiting. He holds over 30 offers from top-tier programs like Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and USC.

OG Solomon Thomas

The Florida Gators have struggled to recruit at the offensive line position but Thomas is a player that can help change things at UF. Thomas is a Rivals100 recruit and is one of the best interior offensive linemen in his class.

Solomon Thomas is a 6’3” 280-pound offensive guard out of Raines High School in Jacksonville, Florida. Thomas is the 41st-ranked recruit and the #1 offensive guard in his class. He’s also the seventh-ranked recruit in the Sunshine State.

Thomas is currently committed to the Florida State Seminoles but is expected to be on Florida’s campus this weekend for an unofficial visit. Thomas holds offers from schools like Alabama, Clemson, Colorado, FSU, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Ohio State, Oregon, and Tennessee.

QB Ryan Montgomery

Another pro-style quarterback that is on Florida’s radar is Ohio native signal-caller, Ryan Montgomery. The Rivals250 quarterback will have a busy couple of weeks as he plans to take multiple unofficial visits to different programs including Florida.

Ryan Montgomery is a 6’3” 200-pound pro-style quarterback out of Findlay High School in Findlay, Ohio. Montgomery is the 153rd-ranked recruit and the eleventh-ranked pro-style quarterback in his class.

Montgomery is scheduled to visit three SEC programs starting this weekend. Montgomery will visit South Carolina and Georgia on January 20th and 22nd. After those visits, Montgomery will take an unofficial visit to Florida on February 3rd. Montgomery has offers from other programs like Auburn, Colorado, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, and Tennessee.

WR Vernell Brown III

The Florida Gators legacy Vernell Brown III is one of the nation’s best wide receivers. Brown’s dad played at the University of Florida from 2001-2005. He played 45 games at cornerback for the Gators.

Vernell Brown III is a 5’11” 170-pound wide receiver out of Jones High School in Orlando, Florida. Brown is the 216th-ranked recruit and the 36th-ranked wide receiver in his class. He’s also the 35th-ranked recruit in the Sunshine State.

Brown is a priority target for the Gators and has offers from other top college football programs. Brown holds 25 offers from schools like Auburn, Clemson, Colorado, FSU, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, and Texas A&M.

OT Ziyade Addison

Another blue-chip offensive lineman who’s high on Florida’s radar is offensive tackle Ziyade Addison. The Sunshine State native received an offer from the Gators last month but is still high on their board.

Ziyade Addison is a 6’5” 270-pound offensive tackle out of Sumner High School in Riverview, Florida. Addison is the 26th-ranked wide receiver in the country and the 52nd-ranked recruit out of Florida.
