I think we need to protect the “at risk” population and continue to take smart measures, but we cannot continue to shut down our entire economy because of this virus when it only seriously affects a small percentage of people.
If we lose thousands of small businesses within each state and other industries across the US (entertainment, travel & hospitality, etc) then we will have MILLIONS more who are jobless and homeless, which will result in more deaths than this virus.
This is just my opinion, but we cannot continue this total shut down beyond another week or two.
