Just watched this movie on Amazon. Was $3.47. Brought back incredible emotions I had forgotten about. Do not know yet whether the movie was that good, or the story...probably the latter. Found myself with tears running down my cheeks a few times. I really forgot how much he loved and believed in America. Had chill bumps many times. This is my very short review. If you really love America and believe in American exceptionalism...I highly recommend watching it. The movie is told from a Russins perspective (Jon Voight plays the part wonderfully) of how Reagan was who actually brought down the USSR. If you have seen it, or do watch it come back and let me know what you thought of it!

I really want someone else's opinion. Reagan was just different. I truly believe God had him at the right place and the right time to defeat evil. (USSR) My Mom worked on his campaign in 1976 and got to meet him. I think he was one of the best POTUS's America has ever had. I have ZERO problems with what he did with the Iran Contra situation...his intentions were good, despite it not really being the right thing to do. I just had so many emotions that I forgot I had while I watched this. Tring to figure out if the movie was that good, or it is just remembering how GREAT he was as President , after Carter embarrassed us so bad and ruined the economy. You have to remember we were on our heals after Vietnam also. When Trump survived the shooting in Butler, I feel God had a hand in that also. I STRONGLY feel Trumps presidency will end up being very close, if not as important as Reagans. Their presidencies are coming after very similar times in our Country...in fact, I am pretty sure FJB just took over first place as the worst president in our history.

No proof he knew what North was doing. He probably did. But I also believe he basically told the others that reported to him to find a workaround.

As bad as Carter but without the charm or integrity.

I cried watching Reagan's Funeral.

I took this picture and made my own T-Shirt with it

Even if he did know what Oliver North was doing, and actually gave the ok, he did it for our country.

I was very good friends with General Secord and his wife before they both died this year. He was asshole deep in this with Ollie. The day I met him, I told him that he was a hero of mine because of what he did for America...taking a "bullet" for Reagan. I am proud to have met them both, such incredible Americans. (his wife was a "typical" Generals wife, just an incredible person) There is not a doubt in my mind that what they did, they did with every bit of their hearts to HELP America and those hostages. I just am not a believer in negotiating with hostages. Adhering to that policy may be a bit painful in the beginning...but overall, it is the least costliest ways to do so in lives lost.
