I don't mind the call, I just din't undersrand pulling Scarlett who ran the ball well the whole drive
^^^ I don't know if we have the QB or O line to blow out any SEC team this year. Every game may be close win or lose.
O-Line is still the weakness of this team. We're better at QB, RB and WR, but unless the offensive line gets significantly better, we're not going to be an elite team. And the defense is not playing very inspired ball. I know not having Tabor hurts, but there have been too many missed tackles and not enough pressure on the QB. This Gator team is very talented, but a mediocre o-line means a mediocre offense.

If you didn't think we would struggle in the first half, you haven't been paying attention this off season.

Selfish lack of discipline. Watch the ball...that is nothing more than selfishness. And then another late hit on the qb because of punk selfishness that thinks he can do whatever he wants.
It is why we are not a top team. It carries over into all facets of the game. Lack of discipline carries over into no attention to detail, not doing the little things right, and not being a dominant team because the attitude is that it is okay to be sloppy. Until Mcelwain changes this mindset and atmosphere this team will not be anywhere near a top team.
It's to the point where I will never expect anything out of the offense ever again, this is year 7 of getting embarrassed by any team played up front and all around. This team is shit right now, they are getting to the point where they have to worry about even winning because of how the game is being slowed down and they are better on offense lmao.
This is supposed to be about the worst team and defense in the FBS we are playing right now. Unbelievable...
Yea we have problems on the oline, Spurrier even referred to them and even said he thought the offense would be better to this point. It's week 1 so things like rounded off routes, a drop here or there, etc. is no big deal but we can't move these guys upfront at all. When we run at least 3 guys are in the backfield ASAP and when we drop back to pass there's almost always a free rusher. If Del Rio didn't have a quick trigger we'd be on about sack 4-5 right now.
Spurrier's like, "these guys are all right, hopefully they'll get it going." It's probably unimaginable to him to be struggling to score points at home vs. UMASS. He could probably walk down from the booth and start drawing up plays on the grease board and score 3 TDs in the second half.
if anything positive happens for the offense since ive been born it doesn't count and will set up a 2nd a million. It's literally the same exact team every year no matter who the players or coaches are. We have more penalties in every drive on both sides of the ball than Bama has had since 08
it's to the point where this team is so bad that they have to fight just to beat the worst team in the entire nation. This is an absolute disgrace and no matter who we play even if it was a high school teams the officials penalize us 10-1 no matter what year, players or coaching staff. It's to the point where Florida football is about dead as a program year after year of this shit
I'm still having a difficult time comprehending the complete ineptitude of the Oline play. I can't believe it's actually regressed from the previous season.
This is what I'm saying. I've got to deal with a pissed off wife tomorrow for this crap?
If our coach had any coaching sense it would be a 9 pt lead.
