I don’t think ending the fed is optimal but we should be following a rules based approach that negates political pressures, like Donald arguing publicly for negative interest rates. The fed is a puppet of the president. trump begged publiclly for negative interest rates, he got them, bigly. and america's poorer are paying the price..
