Let the illegals into the military.

So throw open the borders, let criminals and terrorists stream into the country, then let them join the military to get the citizenship that they couldn't get legally.

Have we noticed that the left's ideas usually seem to help our enemies more than they do the United States?

Let's assume for a minute that Durbin is a naive idiot and isn't an evil man working with our enemies. Let's assume he honestly believes this will solve the recruitment problem for the military.

If you are considering joining the military now, and you see that the military could soon allow our enemies to join, will that increase or decrease your chances of signing up?

Of course it will decrease them. And that will create an even GREATER need for recruits.

And if the only people willing to join the military are terrorists and criminals illegally entering the country....well hey....gotta have someone who is willing to serve!
