Thanksgiving coldest on record in the NEast

One summer I worked night time 12 hour shifts in a super polyphosphate agitator tank doing turnaround cleanup. We climbed into the tank at 7pm and used hoses to suck up filter rock so it could be replace with new rock. It was hot AF, and filthy, and dangerous as we had to wear rainsuits and helmets with face shields. I would lose 5 pounds in water overnight. Another fun job was carrying prospecting equipment on foot through the swamps to drill test cores for the lab. Also hot AF, ticks and mosquitos were bad.

One week I ran a high powered hose to knock slurry from the drag line into a pit where a pump would suck up the slurry into a pipeline.

The drag line would dump HUGE buckets of ore in front of me and I would spray the powerful jet into the pile and knock it into the pit. I was in a little metal box mobile control room. It was fun for a while actually.

However, once in a while, if my jet of water would hit the top of the pile, rocks would go screaming towards the drag line and the operator who was in a plush, enclosed cockpit. The rocks would hit the glass hard in front of him and scare the crap out of him. Each time I would make that mistake, invariably his next bucket load would "accidentally" get dumped on the metal box control room where I was sitting...which would freak you out of course. And there you stayed until someone with a front end loader would dig you out.

there is science and there is settled science

Nope.

the earth being round, fire being hot and the existence of gravity is settled science.

The elements of which, and our understanding of, can also changed...meaning science is never settled.

LOL...and you're telling me to pay attention? Have you ever spoken to an actual scientist? I was raised by one. I called him dad. 😂

You just reminded me of another job I had at Oxy. We used high pressure jets to cut slag off of reactors. Hose wand with a teeny tiny pin hole under tremendous PSI. One guy got careless and hit his foot. It didn't harm him but cut a clean cut through his safety boots.

🚨🚨🚨The warmers heads have to be spinning. The cranks in the Pacific NW got tons of snow this past year now they’re getting roasted. They don’t know which part of the hockey stick to believe in? 🤭😭😭😭

Yesterday saw Waco's 27th straight triple digit day, 5th longest all time. 2011 saw 44 straight triple digit days, longest ever. The Warmists would have us believe 2022 is hottest ever.

the warmers are now fully blaming you 😭

Alarmists: ‘We Know that Global Warming Is the Cause’ of Summer Heatwaves

ROME — Climate change alarmists are no longer hedging their claims about global warming with conditionals, but now assert with confidence that human-induced climate change is without doubt the cause of summer heatwaves.
