This is just the Leftwing version of “It was cold today in _____, therefore ..." They do it after every hurricane too.
On a less political note: I know we have a few posters from that part of the country. I hope they got through this unscathed. I live in Florida, but the prospect of an EF3+ tornado scares me far more than any hurricane--especially when they happen in the middle of the night.

We've been having record highs since records have been kept. Record lows, too. Recall last February? Denver saw it's earliest freeze on record in 2019.

So again for those that can't do critical thinking: Take a planet that is 'on fire', 5 hottest years in the history of said planet, according to the same people who think man-made climate change is a real thing.
If the planet is currently having its 5 hottest years in history, what does that mean? It means the GLOBAL temperature is the hottest its ever been.
That means we will see a HUGE increase in record HIGH temperatures, and at the same time a HUGE *decrease* in record LOW temperatures.
It has to be that way, that's the only way the AVERAGE global temperature can reach RECORD HIGH levels.
But that isn't what we've seen. Not even close.
If anything, we are seeing more record LOW temps. That's why we keep pointing out all the record LOW temps, hoping the warmists will engage their brains and realize this can't be happening if the planet were really 'on fire'.
But this is their religion, so warmists refuse to listen.
