Tennessee Game Thread...Yay

Our offense is so painfully slow. We've had the ball 6+ minutes and have only moved the ball 40 yards.

Trying to get too cute. Why roll the pocket to attempt a throwback pass on 2nd and 8? Typical Nuss.

If you are going to handoff on inside zone at some point you have to read the d end or the olb folding in

Easily the worst offensive strategy in the country. We slowly huddle up between each play giving the defense the chance to sub and match personnel, slowly walk up to the line giving them even more rest in between plays, then run and throw everything close to the LOS not forcing them to back off at all. So teams just play downhill the whole game with no fear. Been like this since year 1. Hot garbage.

The d took the play off. No discipline at all and again we are the softest team in America. Every other play someone needs trainer attention.

But Mac knows offense

To put it all in perspective GT, an option team, ran almost 100 plays against UT. We won't get near that. That's how slow our pace of play is.

The offensive scheme makes zero sense. Gun zone run game yet the qb won't run the ball. We run the ball with no fullback into defense where we don't have a numbers advantage. And the scheme is relying on Olineman to win every one on one block.

Would be great if we'd throw down the field and not just throw receiver screens all day.
Agree. However, the few times Franks did throw downfield his accuracy was way off. Just not very optimistic about this team.

Franks had a lot of green in front of him on a couple of those roll outs and he threw it anyway. The O-line still looks poor and the backs can't pick up a simple LB blitz.
