I'm not a fan of retiring numbers. I've honestly never understood the concept. There are only so many numbers that people can wear. We have retired a few numbers as well but I personally don't care if someone wears them.

Not retired. Earned. Getting Spurrier, Wuerffel, or Tebow's number should be a reward for performance. No freshmen or 1st year transfers should show up and get those numbers.

I don't mind annual awards.

I'm mixed on halls of fame. They get stupid after a while with a huge gray area. Good players who don't get in and questionable players who do.

In general, yes. The Heisman is a joke at this point. They just look at a good teama ND pick a player (usually QB) which has absolutely NOTHING to do with who is the best player. Most voters rarely watch games and just look at stats or have someone else do it. It's a joke at this point tbh.... unless fsu players win it then it's totally fair
