Surprising Revelation with Callaway's situation.

Not gonna drag you through all of the similarities and differences between Judges, Neutrals(arbitrators & mediators), and lawyers as it relates to conflicts of interest. In each of those roles, individuals may, and commonly do recuse themselves or do not accept an assignment. They can also be forced out of their role.
So I am going to guess the answer is what we think the answer is. No conflict of interest, in spite of the optics.

A thread about a gator football player on a gator board.

That's the whole point of this place, right?

The post reads: "Sexual harassment. UF appoints Booster to adjudicate the hearing. The accuser goes public. This does not look too good."

No way that's going to be thrown back in his face. (picture laughing smiley here)

Same here. LOL

It's really no effort these days. Just copy/paste from an old word doc. My interest is purely how many pages a Winston topic will go on a Gator board. So far Countygator is the lead horse and where I'm placing my bets.

Oh man, you should see the theories on the other gator board. Major Harding "paid shill and FSU booster", everyone including the Governor was part of the coverup. Chris Casher is going to snitch soon and Jimbo will be banned by the NCAA. FSU guaranteed to get penalties worse than Penn State.

So who paid EK to change her story when telling it to Justice Harding? LOL

I love rival fan theories...I don't care if it's Baylor, FSU or UF. It's never as "nothing to see here" as fans/alumni want to believe and never as "complete and utter criminally insane" as rivals want to believe it is.

Don't forget when Winston's accusers aunt/lawyer Patricia Carroll had her press conference and pretty much said the hospital was in on the cover up and the urine samples were switched! LMAO! You just cannot make this stuff up. Players, School, Police, State Attorney and a Hospital all covering up for little ole Winston. Yet no one sees it's really EK's lies and multiple stories that ruined her case.

..i.,

A nolie started this thread with 104 posts in 12 years. WTF?? Now I wish UF had not appointed a booster, only because it give nolies something to say "At least we didn't...blah blah blah". Just like Mr. Crablegs Winston, Antonio is innocent until proven guilty, so get off your high horses. And all you "baby gators" that pop up out of the bottom of a rock need to get a life. I'm guessing you're someone reincarnated.

I am reincarnated. Formerly known as @Nolez29.

I didn't get band here. I was permanently band on tMB last year.

I can live without posting here or Warchant, but not tMB.

I can assume there must be some tangible benefits relating to privacy as to why she would opt to disclose a sexual assault to UF rather than GPD. I certainly wouldn't want to question a victim's reaction to such a heinous crime. Some have alluded to a possible money grab, and even if that's accurate; it still doesn't mean she wasn't violated.

I find it remarkable that everyone has an opinion of the alleged victim, but no one found it concerning that the ESPN article stated that according to sources Treon accepted a Title 9 plea deal to leave school and also supposedly apologized to the victim on his way out the door. That in itself does in no way whatsoever make Calloway an accomplice, but I would be very cautious about dismissing an allegation such as this simply because you don't agree with her choice of acknowledgement. ijs
I don't know anything...victim or Calloway being right or wrong, only going to the University seems weird to me but I think that several people have made some reasonable points. We'll see how it plays out.

Just guessing....either:

1. She's not claiming assault....only them making her uncomfortable after the fact.

2. She's wants to claim assault but doesn't have a legal case so she's taking the next avenue.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Florida's Antonio Callaway has been found not guilty by the UF student conduct code and conflict resolution office in a case presented by his accuser alleging the star receiver sexually assaulted her.

Callaway's attorney, Huntley Johnson, sent out a press release containing a copy of the ruling made following a hearing in the case on Aug. 5. Callaway's accuser and her attorney were not present at that hearing, claiming that Florida's appointing of a booster to hear the case created unfair bias.

"According to the resolution document, both Callaway and his accuser admitted they were high on marijuana. Callaway stated: "I was so stoned I had no interest in having sex with anyone," saying that his accuser was the aggressor."

So, who was at the hearing? Callaway, his attorney H. Johnson, and the Gator Booster that presided? If so, they probably could have done it all via email or conference call.

I have not read that. Source?
