Florida's Liv McGill earns SEC Freshman of the Week after posting a triple double at Missouri and leading Florida from the three versus Kentucky.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-The Southeastern Conference unveils its weekly honors, featuring Liv McGill as SEC Freshman of the Week. The recognition comes after McGill tallied Florida's first triple-double since 2017 and posted back-to-back outings in double figures for scoring.

McGill's triple double at Missouri was the highlight of her week, recording 21-points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. In Columbia, McGill led UF in assists (10), rebounds (11), and steals (2), greatly contributing to Florida's 26-point victory over Mizzou.

In UF's first matchup of the week, McGill hit double figures in scoring with 10 points against No. 12 Kentucky (1/9/25). McGill also shot an impressive 67 percent from the three-point line to lead the Gators from behind the arc.

Overall, McGill spent the week dominating on both ends of the hardwood with a combined 31 points, 15 rebounds, and 12 assists.

The Gators will be back in action on Thursday, Jan. 16 when they travel to Oxford, Miss., for a 9 p.m. ET tip-off against Ole Miss.
