"...From left to right, this is what the first-team offensive line looked like on day one.

Richard Gouraige, Stewart Reese, Ethan White, Josh Braun, Jean Delance.

Now, the overreaction in Gator Nation was impressive on Thursday. It has to be noted that this line was only from a small portion of the very first practice and the team wasn't even in pads yet. It's notable because it's the starting point, but there is a lot of football to be played and the five that start in spring may not necessarily be the five that start the first game."

To use a technical term; Hevesy Flip Flopped Reese & Braun; for a reason - but what reason I couldn't say.

I'm thinking Braun is quicker / faster than Reese (doubles in tennis) which may help Delance with his protection against outside speed rushers.

Also read in several sources that Delance was injured last year; hope he & Ethan White (knee) are healed up now - a whole 50 days after the embarrassment of the Cotton Bowl.

Just a hunch but I think White for whatever reason might not be the starter when game 1 arrives.

Fever,

You may have it right -

",,, Hevesy said. "Stewart (Reese) is getting a tremendous amount of reps at center right now.

Interior-wise walking out there if you have Stewart at center, Ethan at guard, and Josh at guard it’s 353, 350, 354 — so pretty big," Hevesy said. "Which I think is part of the whole deal to running the ball and moving those inside guys to run downhill — inside zone, outside zone stuff. There’s some mass in there to move guys, to learn to be physical all the time. It’s not being nice guys because they’re big guys. It’s using that force and power that you have.”

We need to push some guys around next year. OLine needs to find a little nasty. Not a lot, not "stupid penalty" nasty, but nasty like "I'm gonna shove you 10 yards, and when we line up I'm gonna do it again" type of nasty.

Yep don't remember too much dominant O line play like that since the 2008 championship season.
