Some Pre-2019 Schedule Smack....

Look at all of these UF headliner matchups in 2019:

• Aug. 31: vs. scUM in Orlando
• Oct. 5: vs. Allbarn
• Oct. 12: at LSwho
• Nov. 2: vs. UGly in Jacksonville
• Nov. 30: vs. FSUcks

Keep in mind that doesn’t even include road matchups at Kensucky and Misery, both of which beat the Gators in Gainesville during their bounce-back season and could easily be ranked when those games are played.

The beauty of Florida’s schedule is that we’re going to find out just how real Dan Mullen’s program is. There’s no hiding. Any notion about the Gators having it easy because they’re in the East should be out the window. As a result, Florida has 10 games against Power 5 teams, which is something Ohio State doesn’t even have for 2019.

It is great for us that scUM hired a coach already on staff because they will have the same defense that's already on film that Dan the Man has all summer to prepare for.....and Dan is good offensively when he has long prep time.

Worst comes to worst, a bad Miami showing will at least most likely mean that Franks gets replaced, or the backups get VERY serious looks at. Trask, Jones, and the new guy coming in. No excuse to stick through another Missouri game like we had in 2018 where the loss was 100% on the hands of Franks with his whopping 9 completions for 32 attempts and 7 straight 3 and outs against one of the SEC's worst defenses.

Knowing Mullen if Jones is really pushing Franks and he was only named the starter due to experience a change would be made if we blew that game to Miami due to the QB play not being good.

Whichever one comes out on top and get's the starting nod will get the job done.
