Ohio St may only end up playing six games this year. I do not believe they should be eligible for the playoffs based on that. Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, UF, and A&M all playing approximately 10 or more games will have better resumes and almost twice as many opponents. Hell, if Cincinnati plays 9 or 10 games they should get an invite over Ohio St.

And the only people Ohio St should be pissed at is their own conference and governors for folding the season then changing course and restarting at the end of October.

I thought to be eligible for a conference title game and playoffs, a team is required to complete 8 games this season, or did that change?

You might be right, and I hope you are. There has to be some kind of standard out there.

Well all they could talk about was oregon having a good shot at the CFP for the past week even though they entered the CFP at 15. Only a 7 game season? WTF. Thankfully they sucked a big hard dick last night and lost to oreo state so all the talk is over with for Pac10 wasting a spot in the CFP. BIG12 eliminated itself this year as well.

I personally do not believe anyone short of at least 10 games played should be even considered for the CFP.

When the BIG?? and the Pac10 came out with their incredibly abbreviated schedules this year, the NCAA should have put their foot down and said no. There has to be SOME semblance of an even playing field and route to the CFP. Letting ohIO stAte get in without having to face a single non-cupcake and playing practically half the games that the ACC champion will have played is just ridiculous.
