Simple question - should Callaway be suspended

I just love how everyone acts like we lost our whole team, when one guy starts on the list...

find a nole or other rival fans running their mouths to point out the production and positive plays and production from the others on the list, or better yet tell me who they even are...

I guess if any LBs were to go down in the game it could be a big issue with how Michigan likes to run power but without that happening its just Callaway being out basically.

Something tells sadgator that if we lose to Michigan, it is going to have very little to do with the fact that Callaway is not playing in the game..

Cosign.

Callaway is the only starter, the rest are backups who barely play and three of them are true freshmen who have yet to play and likely weren't in the rotation. Considering Michigan lost something like 30 seniors, Callaway shouldn't be THE difference, especially if we're supposed to have one of the top receiving units in the country like people seem to think we have.

Any 7 point or less loss will be blamed on Callaway being out probably whether its reality or not.

I don't think we lose regardless, this is our best roster since Meyer...

Callaway is a great talent, but seems to just be a bad character. UF doesn't need kids on the team who are constantly getting in trouble. I'd be OK if they just turned him loose. Hopefully, the other players learned their lesson about being caught in a negative light and we'll never hear them names again except from the play on the field.

It's probably a good thing that I'm not in charge....

As to on the field, this might actually be a hidden plus for the team. There are a lot of playmakers on this team now, and this opening gives them each a chance to step up and become 'The Man' on game days.
RB - 5 --- TE - 4 --- WR - 10 (9 without Callaway)

Callaway has already had his 3 strikes in my book. o_O
He seems to believe that he can get away with pretty much anything,,, and so far he's been right...

He'd be gone if it was up to me. But if he stays, then I'd suspend Callaway for 2 games. Then I wouldn't start him for the 3rd game, but I'd let him try to earn his way back as the KR and PR. And if he even looked sideways at anything or anyone, I'd boot him down the road.

In short, as a long time Gator fan,,, I'm just really tired of this boob's off the field escapades. He is a 2 years running team distraction, and he's quickly becoming a locker room (I can get away with it) cancer. No player, no matter how good he plays on Saturday, is worth putting up with this much crap for. JMOHO's of course.

the closer it gets to the game with the break downs by the smarter people around the country in the sport, it just makes more sense...

They had us listed at 53% chance to win today in the football index, while being 4 plus point underdogs...

People are claiming J. Smith may be in enough trouble to be kicked off the team over this stuff. It may depend on what the legal system decides to charge him with - a felony or a misdemeanor if they end up handling his case. Supposedly Callaway is being further scrutinized also but not sure if his is for anything the legal authorities would handle. I think the other 5 players will just be missing the first game probably.

Way to go off on a tangent.
