Simple question - should Callaway be suspended

I'm curious what relevance a DOE investigation into sexual assaults on campuses (243 different universities in the link you reference) across the country has to do with this. If you'd like to throw RichRod under the bus for his lack of response to a he said/she said incident with Brendan Gibbons 2009 that never resulted in any criminal charges, please be my guest. I can help you pile on to his stupidity. Then again, possible criminal activity is a legal matter and not an NCAA matter. Impermissible benefits on the other hand are usually not a legal matter and are purely an NCAA matter.
Reports FLYING around now that Callaway might be gone for the season. Multiple felonies. However, i heard there is someone working extremely hard in the police department to cover it up

Reddit is a site where anybody can post anything they want but if they post something untrue it gets deleted. This serious matter did not get deleted. Therefore, it must be true. I actually have nvr been to reddit but was told this by a source close to the situation
If no games are listed, then he will be suspended right up until game time, then he will no longer be suspended. That's what "indefinitely" means.
I remember one year we played Auburn, and they took the start away from their QB, I think for plagiarism. He came into the game on their second play from scrimmage and played the rest of the game. Something like that could work.
Supposedly these dudes maxed out the cards....something like $1,500 but got more than $1,500 in merchandise.

If UF didn't self report to the NCAA when they found out about this.....could get interesting.
Per my neighbor who is an Atty and sports agent (not big time like first round dudes or anything) but deals mostly with free agent dudes. He is also abUF alumni and surprisingly a good guy.

Now? Now he appears to be what I was afraid that he was since his association with TH,,, way more trouble that he's worth, even if he is a very good player...
Cause no matter how many times he's given the benefit of the doubt, and every help possible, he continues to 'SCREW THE POOCH' to everyone's determent....
I, (and likely most others) am glad that dealing with this stuff is not up to me....

Be willing to bet that we haven't heard the last regarding the length of Calloway's suspension. Suspending him for the same length of the other six players will end up being just as bad of a PR hit as it would have been if no one was suspended.
Why Coach Shark didn't take the easy route and give Calloway a two games suspension, with UF playing N Colorado the second game, was just a dumb mistake. He's going to have a hell of a time today explaining how Calloway got the same suspension as 6 other players who haven't been in trouble every year.

Whether we self reported or not, it won't get interesting. The steps we have already taken have eliminated the possibility of extra benefits.
But, in any event, we self report everything. Being a Nole fan, I realize you don't know what a correctly run athletic department looks like, so you'll just have to take our word for it.
It's amusing how the nole fans are alll over this story like flies on sh!t...and yet their program is one of the most shameful examples in the history of college football of letting a player play who should have been dismissed. Ironically, sadgator must admit they are experts in this subject.

Even tho more gators have been arrested since meyer took over UF? We are raising boy scouts who love the community and give back on their days off. We win rhodes scholarships. We took 40 dollars of crab legs. Which was paid back with smiles, laughter, and joy that Winston brought to every American. UF reminds me of Bobby Bowdens last 10 yrs. Cant get the players and then when you do they get busted for something. If Mac wants a tour of FSU, we can set this up for him
Callaway is a great talent, but seems to just be a bad character. UF doesn't need kids on the team who are constantly getting in trouble. I'd be OK if they just turned him loose. Hopefully, the other players learned their lesson about being caught in a negative light and we'll never hear them names again except from the play on the field.
Love how people are acting like this is like the end of our program. It ain't like we were gonna be a world beating offense with or without him...

We all love when we get the South Florida and Miami area recruits...but many come with baggage. It's a roll of the dice.
