The entire ordeal looked like a scripted ruse to me and China was in on it. The democrats need something-ANYTHING- good to happen. Pelosi says she’s going to Taiwan, China (playing their part) objects. She skull drags her big saggy tittays over China and now the dems have a feather in their cap.
Someone HAS to show SOME strength...China WILL invade Taiwan before 2024 election BECAUSE of Brandon and his weakness. I actually have to give that old vile beotch some credit here.

Let's wait and see what that "leadership" leads to. I'm sure any moment now the Chinese will give Taiwan its independence...and they'll have Nancy to thank for it.

I thought Trump's visit to meet Kim was a mistake. He took his shot...and there was very little risk compared to Nancy's trip. Like Nancy's trip, there was almost zero chance of success.
Again, both were foolhardy... but Nancy's phot-op carried with it a danger on the global level.
And Pelosi is to leadership as the worm in the bottom of a tequila bottle is to flavor.

However, while leadership doesn't guarantee success, it's supposed to be step in that direction. Part of the "process" towards success. Nancy's trip to Taiwan is none of those things.
Her staff took the bait, the Chinese double-dogged dared her, and she accomplished the task of accepting the dare. Was it brave? Sure...I'm sure all involved were scared shi1tless. If she wasn't, she should have been. I've been both brave and foolish before and I'm sure you have been too.
If you disagree, define here the value of her visit. Will China take a step back? Will this make Taiwan safer? Will this improve China-US relations? Or did the hole just get a little bit deeper?
