Went to first game of doubleheader...Mets v. Ft. Myers Miracle. Hot as hell, but cool to see. Tebow got nailed at the plate trying to score. Tons of Gators everywhere.

I jus dont see this as anything other than attracting fans. Hes just ok enough to attract attention. People like Sad are the reason he is allowed to play. However, i cant knock u, im gunna buy Mcgregor vs Mayweather because of mcgregor. So i get it
Dude is a phenom. He is larger than life. It is a traveling circus. But it was big fun to see him in orange and blue. sadgator is definitely in the target market.

Jus to show u that i am being fair. I think Tebow was a top 3 College football player all time, any position(most certainly the best white dude). Dude was a straight beast and i was nvr more jealous. I personally think he should still be in the NFL but the NFL wont sign him for the same reason that the minors did sign him. Attention. Same reason no one wants colin kap. Who wants 40 questions a day and a huge distraction for ur backup qb. I personally think Tebow should be in the NFL regardless of that fact tho.

I think the baseball experiment may be about over. He is batting .157 in AAA. No reason to keep this up unless he just really loves baseball. I think the Mets will probably end it after this season if he doesn't. He was just too old I guess to get the hitting part down good enough since he didn't play college baseball.
Look over the roster and the stats. He is on par with two other outfielders near his age. The other two outfielders on the Syracuse roster are older rehabbing players. There is also an infielder who has a worse batting average than Tebow.
Yep but if he was going to make a move it had to be this year with his age and it it isn't happening. It was probably an impossible dream since he had never built up a base after high school. Trying to think if anyone has ever made the major leagues in modern times that didn't play any baseball for many years after high school.

He was progressing well until he injured his hand last season.
That has set him back some.
Tebow's average was at .130 after the team's first 23 games before his productivity increased of late, a stretch that he said has helped with his confidence as he's found more of a rhythm at the plate.
He has a hit in seven of his past nine games.
On Thursday, he told The Associated Press that he was unfazed by his slow (.157) start.
"I think I'm improving. I'm working, developing,'' Tebow said. "I think I'm getting better, adapting to some really good players, and I think that's important.''
