I suspect this is similar to how he's always trying to 'get back' at Sunny for being smart enough to score well on a test and how he's always trying to 'get back' at gatordad for having kids attend UF.

But I don’t understand why only one religion triggers him.

In fact, if aliens landed here I’d imagine trying to figure out how and why devout religious people think would melt their brains. Faith is a difficult thing to qualitatively understand and it’s impossible to quantify.

However, I refuse to submit to any of the many religious dogmas.
Or to have a Preacher or a Priest tell me how I have to live.
Or to have to go through them to speak to God, or to hear from God.
The terms FATE and DESTINY also annoy me, as a free thinking individual.
God is Love, and I'm free to choose my own way in this world.
IF God wanted me to be different than I am, then he should have made me differently, instead of who I am.
That said, I remain open to God's 'Infinite Universe' and to whatever it might bring to me.
I live in today and from moment to moment, because yesterday is irretrievably gone, and tomorrow never comes....
Now, any criticism that anyone has about that, should be addressed to God, not to me.... 😉
