Proprietary COVID-19 and Vaccine thread

Great example. The guy was SO worried that he got the vaccine himself. It sounds he’s just mad they didn’t go with his protocol, which was never even fully developed.

0 for 2. If that’s the best you’ve got, you are pretty sad and I will continue to mock you. Professor of Operations Management. I’m still laughing at that one.
Look at all these crazy internet bloggers. Can you believe it?

It’s the mantra of the left - deference to experts.

Anything a “trusted expert” says is the gospel. No one but a “trusted expert” can say anything valid.

If a “trusted expert” starts to deviate from the accepted narrative they cease being a “trusted expert”.

They are too brainwashed to realize it’s not the expert they trust, it’s the narrative they are told to believe.

Lord, save us from these madmen who defer to experts!

The world needs more guys who think they are more competent in any field of endeavor than people who have actually studied and worked in the field for many years.

From your link:

"The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias[2] whereby people with low ability, expertise, or experience regarding a certain type of task or area of knowledge tend to overestimate their ability or knowledge. "

The only other poster that posted this was @gator1776. He claimed for over a year here that he had superior knowledge of covid, and repeatedly bragged that he had 'achieved mastery in his field'.

He left the board months ago after being repeatedly wrong about almost every claim he made about covid.

And if I recall, you were his biggest supporter here.

When did I ever claim to be an expert on vaccines or anything in the medical field?

I don’t think you understand what you just posted.

You’d need to send this to people like Dr Malone and Dr McCullough. All I do is share what others have said rather than blindly follow the narrative pushed by 3-letter agencies and unelected, highly paid officials like Fauci.

It’s a little embarrassing when someone acts like an academic and don’t even read/understand what they post.

@Uniformed_ReRe has to be the one to post about The Dunning-Kruger Effect cause the first guy that posted about it had to leave the board in shame cause he ended up being wrong about almost everything he ever posted here pertaining to his claimed area of expertise.

The most ironical post we've seen here in a while.

Accurate description, as always. You must have a photographic memory.

Who’s more confident than accurate in their beliefs?

One person believed the shots would let him live his life, help make sure Delta didn’t hospitalize him, and took the chance.
He’s seen 3 people in his immediate circle have issues from side effects and talked to many others. He’s seen medical professionals risk their careers to voice dissent. He’s seen videos and testimonials of people who have been injured.
He watches all-cause mortality data points, notes the percentages of vaxxed in the hospital and dead, and listens to research and questions the risk/reward for certain age groups and comorbidity groups.
He shares the other side of the issue freely, because those voices don’t enter many mainstream channels, and some signals seem disturbing.

The other person follows the expert advice of 3-letter agencies and follows the established protocol with no discernment or analysis of the risk/reward.

I feel like you could call anyone who challenges an established narrative “overconfident”, because you define “accuracy” as whatever the experts say. That’s our core disagreement here. You’re actually proving my point and not refuting it.

You’re honestly the best dissenting poster we have in this forum, you’re not rigid, you’re often unorthodox in your approach and you’re intelligent. On this issue I think you could use a slightly more open mind. I’m not telling you you’re wrong, but I’m not sure you’re right either.

I just left a thread where you claimed that most people are tired of how the ALT RIGHT are INCREASINGLY engaging in VIOLENCE across the country, then I come here to see you accusing ME of having a bad memory.

Your irony game is on point tonight, I will give you that.

99 percent of what you guys post here are kernels of truth that are either taken out of context, and framed misleadingly, or cherry-picked anecdotes.

Wait, so now you get to decide what's accurate/true? What the appropriate "context" is?

You have to pick...is it the experts or is it you?

And feel free to take a few minutes and let me know what I've taken out of context. I'd be curious to know your thoughts on that.

It seems his need to defend his politics is greater than his need to secure his health.

Author is jut a PHD student, but I'm floored NewsWeek would publish this...

I had to take my wife to the Mayo Clinic this week. I was shocked to see they still have a mask mandate even in doctors offices on campus. I think most of us have known cloth masks are junk science bullshit from the get go. Unbelievable they still require them.

@fatman doesn't do that. You are cherry-picking and misleadingly framing in this case.

He goes to a great deal of trouble with his posts on the subject. You don't like what he says...fine. But stop acting like you control the levers for what is true or worthy of consideration.

Well "99 percent" is virtually everything that we post ITT.

So it should be shooting fish in a barrel to show me where I'm taking things so far out of context...my guess is we won't hear from him on the subject.

Isn't ironic that the "centers of health science" (hospitals) are the last to actually follow it?

Sort of makes you wonder...

He absolutely does, like most posters here. To be fair, he’s not as bad as Ghost though, where it’s more like 99.99999999999%. I honestly can’t recall Ghost posting anything that wasn’t obviously tailored to deceive, divide, or incite.

Your last sentence perfectly sums up what I *don’t* do. I *don’t* think I have special insight into the truth. I *don’t* assume I know more than people who have studied or worked in a field for years.

I’ll make it even easier. A significant percentage of my posts on this forum are little more than critical evaluations of the questionable sources and article excerpts people post. My posting history should have a trove of examples.

And you present that as if it was an indictment of me.

What you don't realize is, it's actually an indictment of the sources you acquire your information from. What I post here is so disconnected from what you expose yourself to daily, that you view it as lies and not just lies, but lies presented to cause you harm.

I present the truth. That's why I never argue the truth with you about any topic. Whether you believe it is the truth or not, does not change what it is.
