So the federal government hires thousands of consultants every year, but you have a problem with an unpaid consultant cutting waste and dollars of tax payer money? No CONSULTANTS are elected. This is an appointed position. There are over 1,000 appointed positions in the US Government.

How much money do you think Deloitte, Booz Allen, Accenture, KPMG, PWC, etc. charge the federal government (American tax payers) every year? None are elected, but they make recommendations to different government employees and entities.

Let me help you. In the 2023 fiscal year alone the federal government spent $830 million of our money on consultants.

DOGE saved ~ $30 Billion in the first month. So you are complaining about a person (Musk) working for free and saving taxpayer dollars, exposing and helping cut Gov't waste. WOW, just WOW.
