Tbbuc out!
Gets his argument backed into a corner by someone smarter than him and he decides to exit the thread. How shocking.

I wasn't talking about me dude, did you look up the guy I mentioned.
You weren't talking about yourself? Then why did you use the word "me"?

In answer to uflowery question, sure its a choice for me to be straight. Not interested in the gay lifestyle.
Because everything you do is a choice, every action is a choice. Why would people do hard drugs that can kill them? It's a choice. It is my belief that a homosexual person chooses to continue to live that way. I won't preach to them and I don't judge them, that is Gods place. I just disagree with same sex relations. If it were natural, procreation would be the result. Again, I hope Sam and any other homosexuals have a successful career in whatever field they chose to pursue and not in a hostile environment. If you still want to try and convince yourself of my sexual orientation being other than straight have at it, the horse is beaten to death!
So, you could or could not be attracted to men if you wanted to? You seem to be confused. Maybe you're just a little bit bicurious?
Yeah u D/A he could if we wanted to but chooses not to. Are you really that dumb?
I mean, I don't think so? I couldn't get it up for a dude. If you can I think you have some soul-searching to do my friend.

By the way, what does D/A mean?

Also, did you receive a degree from the University of Florida?
Since you're a damn genius it shouldn't have been very difficult to figure out what a D/A is. Just forget it man, we can all agree to disagree i guess.

Faweez,
I agree with a lot of what you have said but are taking it a step too far.

Are some people predisposed to be attracted to the same sex? Sure. The decision is whether to act in that desire. Or better yet not act on that desire because the act is deemed socially unacceptable. The decision isn't the feelings but rather the act on those feelings.
That is exactly what he is saying. That base attraction is what truly decides your sexuality though. View sexuality as a spectrum. If you are equally attracted to both sexes, but only choose to act on the sexual feelings related to women, you are still, at your core, bisexual. If you feel much more strongly attracted to men, but act only on what little feelings you have towards women, you are at best bisexual, but more accurately homosexual.

I mean, we can agree to disagree, but you'll still be an ignorant embarrassment to the Gator Nation.

People can decide with whom they have sex. They can't decide to whom they are attracted. We appear to agree on those two points.

You seem to think two people (consenting) that are attracted to each other and happen to be the same gender shouldn't have sex with each other (apologies if this is incorrect). We appear to disagree there. I see no reason why they shouldn't. It makes them happy. It doesn't hurt anyone else. Any religious issues are between those two people and their God. I see no reason why any random person should have any say in it.

I think it's time for same sex marriages to be legal. We agree. One of my earlier posts explains my position better.
