Not a Gillum fan. Had hopes for Desantis as a supposed backer of clean water.
Didn't think he would focus only on identity politics and waste state funds for constant campaigning. He never cared about being governor at any point in his tenure. He only cared about being president at the expense of average Floridians everywhere.

Yeah he’s done a ton for Florida during tenure. It’s why he got re-elected by a landslide despite republicans struggling in that election.

Agreed. As a Harvard educated attorney, he knows that it’s likely not a winning lawsuit. But I really don’t think that’s his intended purpose. It’s a drop in the bucket to show Floridians he will fight for them.

Not a permanent solution but will help ease burden a little bit. More insurance companies are returning back to the state in quarter 1 of 2024 which should lend itself to more competitive rates hopefully.
I deal with insurance companies every day. Theres no magic immediate solution to decreasing insurance rates by a significantly meaningful level. Anyone who says there is, is lying.

But based on how I'm reading this, the monetary difference between a NY6 bowl and the CFB semi is pretty close to the $1MM he wants to spend. However, I am assuming there are going to be arguments surrounding the value of a top 4 finish or a NC to the overall Brand, school, community and future recruiting efforts.
A good lawyer could ask for a decent sum I'd imagine.
