LOL. Of course it does. You're saying that Alabama would teach everyone in the top 10 about "big boy" football. They lost to Ole Miss at home. This is the 3rd straight year that SEC fans have told us Alabama is the best team in the country. The Tide have lost 5 times in their last 23 games and you guys still act like they're this mythical, unstoppable force. It's literally cult-like behavior.
Please close this Nolie thread. Alaskan who lives on here for some reason posted this as he has a boner that Ole Miss lost.
Bama lost to Ole Miss but woud still bitch slap all the teams on that list except possibly Baylor. The only reason Bama has a loss is because they don't play in the chicken*hit ACC.

Congrats, man. That's pretty cool. Mine is deciding between TX St, Baylor, or UT. Got a buddy who went to USC, but both kids are going to AZ St, so he's stuck pulling for them for now. LOL
That's the bammer effect. If you beat bama you must be great, no matter that they had deadwood for a qb and turned it over 5 times. Hence #3. I still don't know why Texas A&M was in the top 10. It won't matter, next September they'll be there again.
Like, you know, yesterday Bama played a top 10 team ON THE ROAD and won. LSU played #8 Florida at home and earned a hard-fought victory . FSU played a high school team (LOUISVILLE) at home and won big deal. Talk when you beat a team that matters.
Tell me who you or the pundits or Vegas would favor to beat Bama if they played tomorrow?
I wonder what the line for OSU - Bama would be on a neutral field right now. My guess would be Bama favored barely but the public would have it back to even real fast probably because of what they did last season in the playoff.
Ole Miss has been force fed on us for 2 years. They are Ole Miss. Always have been and always will be a second tier team.
I would bet OSU still. Bama has an average QB. The line might/probably favor Bama because of the enormity of their fan base but I don't think that makes them the best team right now.

I'm not sure why you're so angry (or appear to be), but the ACC (as a conference) is not "chicken *hit", they are actually playing more P5 schools than the SEC. The problem is they suck...but they're certainly not scared.
Bama is not the best team in the country. Baylor would hang 50 on them, OSU would smack them around again. LSU would be a tossup. Let's remember Bama lost at home to Ole Miss
Not angry, just don't care to hear fans of a team in the ACC running their mouth about teams that play big-time football. As for p5 opponents if LSU Could drop Alabama Ole Miss and A&M for Wake forest, Virginia and Louisville I'd be good with playing better OC teams. Ever stop to think that Memphis might be pretty good? Based on results so far they might be the 2nd or 3rd best team in the ACC.

Don't know if they are better than FSU but they are probably as good or better than everybody else.
Espn has tv deals with most leagues, but hey your butt hurt is palpable and delicious. UF is going to spank you this year and the meltdown is going to be epic

Agree that is a pretty ridiculous comparison. There is no term known as "Ole Miss'ing".
Nice post METSWIN adds nothing to the thread as it has nothing to do with the topic being discussed. BTW as a member of the ACC FSU is1-0 against LSU. Other wins were as a independent program.

Being the best team is no guarantee of winning a championship. Fsu was the best team in 1997, how did that work out for ya? Remember that Alabama had 5 turnovers against Ole Miss. Anybody that saw the game could tell that Bama had the better players but 5 TOs, every bounce going against them and Lane Kiffin were too much to overcome
What conference was LSU in prior to FSU's last victory over them? Was it the "big-time football conference".
