Oh Holes.......a loss NC State, UVA, or Duke....

The problem is recruiting, can we convince enough good players to come to fsu when we look like dog shit and the Canes and Gators look good?. Im not sure. The only saving grace for us is Mullen is not an elite recruiter like saban, meyer, or fisher. Hes not bad but he hasnt proven to be elite so maybe the door is still cracked open a bit. I think next year if we win 6 games it will be counted as a success.
Right now Norvell is recruiting terrible. Mullen is actually recruiting really good right now. UF took some commitments from some kids early and right now we have kids that are knocking down our door to get into our class but space is a major issue.

What will help FSU is the ACC teams on a whole recruit terrible so your main competition isn’t as tough as say if you were trying to recruit against other SEC programs for example.

Dan recruits as well as anyone can who is doing it legally. With this year's success, expect our classes to take a step up. We can't compete with the ones handing out bonuses, like Georgia and Bama, and you will probably catch up quickly if you go back to the Bowden days and the "parking lot".

As i said, i dont think dan is a bad recruiter but its fair to say hes not elite. Where i think Dan shines is development, he is an elite developer, hell look at Trask.

I do believe FSU has pretty much hit rock bottom. The team really can’t get any worse than they are so I would agree with you.
They haven’t had their fcs loss or gone winless yet. They can get much worse

They will all need to poop by the end of the 1st. Gotem

Taco Bell could be a working strategy. Extra beans on every burrito, make sure you hang your backside over the other guys helmet before you rip one. 2-3 of those and Clemson players will be woozy out there.

Terrible is an understatement. In 2019, the 7th best recruiting team from the SEC was #13 nationally. The second best ACC team was #18 nationally, and it was FSU.

FSU in the past 4 years has had classes ranked 6, 11, 18, and 22. That indicates some actual talent on the roster. No matter how bad of a coach you are, you should be able to get more out of them than this disaster. Now, it is a downward trend, and they are sitting at #21 right now for the current class, but that's still the second or third best ACC class each year.

Since they just got spanked by NC State, I looked up their rankings. 53, 26, 32, 43 over the past 4 years. FSU's worst class is higher ranked than NC State's best class.

Looks to me like the kids don't really want to play there anymore, don't even want to be there any more. Could see 10+ transfer out. But only the talented ones that another team wants. Those without a place to land will stay so they can get a free education plus room and board even though they hate it there, and Norvelllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll (it's coming) will have to keep them so he has enough players to field a team. FSU is soon to be without any talent or coaching. How low can FSU go? Marianas Trench low.

Yes it looks really bad on paper when you break it down like you have.

Happy 30th birthday!
Thanks! I am just annoyed that my 30th birthday won’t feature a nole beatdown... by us, anyway. I’ll be wearing my Clemson shorts this week to show support for what I hope is a historic destruction

Really 30. Well, I just guessed that you would claim to have been a Nole hater all your life. Still surprised you didn't say 31. Why did you wait until birth to become a Nole hater? I would have assumed you would have been so in utero.

Stole this from another Gator board.

Wow, this article is sizzling hot fire. Real FSU fans on this board please chime in with honest feedback.

Some quotes in there make it seem as if the program is just about to turn the corner, but others are sugar coating what they perceive to be as “wicked bad.”

Corner is being turned this weekend. Clemson has no idea what is coming for them. This article is just the right amount of gasoline to put on the fire this weekend.

Yep Durden leaving is another loss. Could be much more problems than just a losing team in Tally.
