Alabama and UGA fans have been going at it since the national title choke. If you’ve listened to any sports talk you’ve heard them call in to shows and boast constantly about Kirby usurping Saban. (To be fair I’ve never heard a UGA fan or graduate use the word usurp. That’s a freebie though, work it into a sentence tomorrow and impress your Georgia Tech boss) Anyways, the entire off season and regular season was filled with Bulldog predictions of taking down Bama and not being skeered. But you’ll probably say “well i ain’t never did that and said nuttin to no bammer fans..” which seems to be a common theme. Your fanbase struts around like a blueblood because of almost winning a title. And here we are again this year being sold UGA’s OL is the best in the country with a defense so stacked with five stars the season is all but a foregone conclusion because the best coaches in the country are on Saban Jrs staff. It’s not just Bama fans tired of hearing your twang asses brag about an empty trophy case.

Utah also produced an NFL #1 draft pick. I do not believe MSU ever did such.

Personally, I'm not telling UCF anything. During that timeframe (When Meyer was there) and with that roster, they would have been at or near the top of the SECW.
Regardless, no point in debating 2005-08 Utah. It woke Bama...Saban up and they went on a rampage both in the conference and nationally. Will the loss to TX make UGA do the same? TBD
Utah is another of the teams that can have good seasons, but not sustained year-2-year success. Now, if they had UA's or UGly's bagmen, maybe things would be different...
