Tickets in Atlanta yesterday were going for $20. Had me thinking about the new playoffs. The average fan could travel to as many is 4 games if the current model doesn’t change. That’s not feasible, IMO, for the average college football fan. Compare that to the FCS playoffs where the only game off campus is the championship game. All others are on campus. If the CFP wants high ticket demand and packed stadiums, these neutral site games will have to be re-thought, IMO.
Talked to a friend in New Orleans and tix are going for $25. I’m sure events from yesterday are also impacting that situation.
